First AC game I played. Highly recommend to those interested in ancient Egypt and in story mode games. The only thing that was sometimes a downside is the leveling system. For players that don't care about side missions or anything, you are forced to do them in order to hit a level high enough to continue the main storyline without doing 0.1% damage a hit. Regardless, I came to enjoy the side quests and highly recommend this game as it basically never got stale or boring. Buy this game when its on sale for like 8 USD as it goes on sale quite often. I just purchased the season pass on sale for 12 USD which includes 2 new storylines that are said to be 20-40 hours of content. I've heard that one of the DLC is far more enjoyable than the other though I'm excited for both. I don't plan on playing other AC games as this one stood out to me due to the ancient Egypt story appeal. It is a beautifully made game and I was awed by the amazing scenery and attention to detail the developers created in this masterpiece of an open world. There are endless things to do and I'm excited for the things I haven't tried yet such as the boss fights and storylines I haven't completed. I completed the main story after 33 hours of play time though it was my first ever AC game and I went in blind but I felt that I was extremely efficient. Highly recommend.

Other than the fact that I lose my save twice due to my computer crashing, and as far as I'm aware there is no cloud saving (at least it was that way a while back when I first tried beating the game if there is now cloud saving) to back up my progress, this game is a masterpiece. I never played the original Subnautica because I watched a play-through on YouTube but I still felt like I understood everything with the story with that knowledge. Without playing the first game some parts might be confusing or you wouldn't know the context of. I finally got around to playing it and I already can't wait for the next installment in the Subanutica world. I have to say, I wish there was more things to fear in the game. If you have the right equipment that is rather easy to obtain, the danger factor is practically 0 and there isn't much scary about the game compared to the first Subnautica. Overall I would give this game a 9/10!
