This is honestly one of the greatest video games I've ever played. For only $3, this game is absolutely worth the asking price as it contains many hours of enjoyment. I have had a lot less fun with several games that cost way more than this one. A lot of video games these days contain flashy visuals, cinematic cut scenes and sophisticated storytelling. Vampire Survivors has none of that but what it does have is one of the things that make video games as a medium special. Simple interactive fun and an addictive gameplay loop. Gameplay is more important to video games than bells and whistles. Vampire Survivors is truly a timeless masterpiece. This could have came out in the 90s on the SNES and still could have been considered to be extraordinary. poncle is a creative genius for making such an addictive game and I shall be eagerly awaiting his next one.
