I am changing my review back to a positive review in light of our victory against the PSN account linking controversy. This is by far one of the best PvE games you will ever play and I grew up on old PvE games like Gears of War and Mass effect. Please, do us all a favor by supporting the game again, Helldivers!

Terrible AI, constant crashes, numerous glitches, poorly voice acted, muddy character models, and DLC for a game that is in early-access. Unfortunately, good gun play can only get a game so far when there are so many other glaring issues with the game. Cannot recommend the game in its current state.

Character locked after playing with him for a rep and now I can't play him anymore.

A bit late when it comes to making this review. I had held off for a good while in the hopes that some of what I'm about to go over would be looked into or addressed by now. I used to love this game. However, I can't support devs that reset everything without so much as consulting their fans before doing so. This game used to be such a smooth finesse driven experience where you would dance with your enemies' attacks harmoniously. Instead, they nerfed the ♥♥♥♥ out of anything mobility-related, added a dumb ass stagger mechanic that focuses on single target combat in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horde mode game. Every encounter now devolves into everyone huddle up in a corner and praying to RNGesus that the game doesn't decide to ♥♥♥♥ you in the ass vigorously with enemies that force the team to break apart from one another. Caught out in the open? Too bad. You're pretty much stuck their blocking for eternity because of how god awful dodging feels now. and before anybody decides to tell me to 'git gud'. I've played the new build enough to have completed some of the hardest missions on cataclysm and it didn't feel rewarding at all.

In conclusion, avoid this game until the devs decide to look into this mess they have created.
