As I said its a Masterpiece. Just gathering my thoughts after finishing the game. What a journey !

First game in a long time where you get exactly what you paid for and what was advertised, no micro transactions, no battle pass, just a massive playground where the only thing limiting your enjoyment and progression is you. The only thing as grand and sublime as the world itself are the terrifying monstrosities attempting to keep you from your goals.

This is the new standard in open world rpgs, remember how everyone was copying Witcher 3? Well expect alot of Elden ring clones the next few years.

Everything from the graphics down to the nippets of lore on throwaway items will blow you away. There is an insane attention to detail in every square inch of the map.

The only negatives I can come up with, is maybe the soundtrack and the optimization problems that some people experienced.

The soundtrack is good but is lacking in comparison to the Dark souls games or even the Witcher series. The final fight (phase 1) was incredible though.

The biggest complaint for some is the stutters and frame drops that they have experienced. I have to say, personally I never really had many problems. 100 hours of gameplay and only a few times I had some frame drops and that was purely on me. I ran everything at max @1440p but since I still have a rtx 2080 ti and an older ryzen 5 CPU possibly not enough for 2k at times. 99% of the time i had solid 60 fps but when spells/abilities/status effects started flying from multiple enemies when on horseback I sometimes dropped frames.

A fantastic experience all around, you will laugh, cry, rage and feel ultimate satisfaction when those bosses start to fall. A MUST BUY.
