Tried it on launch, had game breaking/blocking bugs. And actually getting into it was very awkward due to the genuinely horrendous UI design. The UI in FTK1 was functional and good whereas here it's like trying to find a needle in a pointlessly coloured, duplicated haystack. Very misleading and all over the place. Needs an actual UI designer to look at it and make it user friendly.

It was fun for a few hours as most games are but after that it gets boring really quickly. After trying a few different run throughs, you realise it's not very varied and all of the fun lore behind the civilisations and choices you make don't really matter because the AI is always out to f you. It just becomes a war simulator, who can have the most troops etc.

Looks like total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It looked good graphically the last time I played it, and now it looks god awful no matter what settings you change, its got an awful cell shaded shader on it and is so bright, it will burn your eyes out.

It's such a shame, me and my partner enjoyed this a while back but now it's unplayable with how bad the game looks and hurts your eyes. You could even call this false advertising at this point, all the positive reviews are likely from before whenever this graphical update hit and so is all of the marketing content that I've seen (videos + screenshots).

Game shows its age and it's clearly an rng based grind fest with annoying cash gated content and mechanics.

The end of an era this game. Definitely worth a play, it has/had it's issues at launch, a lot of foreshadowing of the fall of Bethesda but as their last decent title, definitely give it a run through before it becomes too dated.

It's basically a scam. It's a graphical update hiding a content release. If you played PSO2 you'll basically be paying for anything you already purchased in a graphical update that has no content. Let's not forget the the mobile game progression gating to conceal the fact that there is no content, just to keep you in long enough to see the next re-released scratch ticket. Lol. Don't support this crap. Uninstall it and do something meaningful with your time.

Had this game since early access. What is there is really good and fun for a time. But the devs are failing the game hard. The original road map of promised features have yet to see the light of day in and are what attracted a lot of us to the game. Where is the magic? Where is the extensive city building and thrall management? Why are there just building styles and armor DLC over and over? Not to mention this latest 'expansion' (Isle of Siptah). From the trailer and feature list alone. There is basically no content here? What are these devs doing lol. It's just turned into a milk fest.

Fun and serious survival whilst covered in quirkiness.

Downloaded it to try it out with some friends. Felt ♥♥♥♥, looked ♥♥♥♥, was ♥♥♥♥. Whatever the devs wanted to put across was lost in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ control feedback and slugginess.
