So about me .. I won't tell you I like games, we're on Steam after all. Nor will I mention that I like books, comics, films and anime because that too should be a given. No, I think we need specifics, you'll have a better idea then eh.

I believe in peace through superior firepower, and I beileve that when it comes to thinking, most people stop at nothing.

One of my all time favourite games? Borderlands, and if I'm honest, i still prefer the phase walking siren to her phase locking younger sister.
I would still play StarCraft Broodwars right now and continue to resist the siren call of SC2 on the principle that Blizzard now abuses its customer base.
I continue to play the Lasher variant of MineCraft (kudos to Lasher for stripping out the appalling launchers and making his choice of mods play nicely together), and periodically delve back into StarTrek Online (not now this got severly smacked by the "P2W hammer") and Van Helsing, the Incredible Adventures thereof.
Woven in amongst all this, I still play Total War titles, Star Ruler, Wargame Airland Battle (seriously someone got paid to come up with this title?), Saints Row 3/4 (4 isn't a game it's a DLC and that pricing was norty), Left 4 Dead, Dota and of course I keep buying more stuff when Steam puts it on sale (Space Engineers would be a prime example).
Driver San Francisco is my 'what should I play?' title. 212mph through traffic with VLC playing my current raft of tunes never fails to make me grin. It's as close to the feeling of playing the original Driver on PC as I'm gonna get and I can't fault that blend of modern graphics with the nostalgia buzz it gives me.
Grid 2 is one of the biggest recent disppointments. Game won't prgress past 3 races and I belatidly realised it deleted Grid when I installed it. Again Grid used to be one of those 'what shall I play?' games; who doesn't love hitting redonculous levels of 'oki-ness' on a Japanese drift event?

So .. other media .. and this will be quick because I have now been typing for 10 minutes and not playing ..

Films: Pulp fiction, Kill Bill, Equilibium, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Micmacs, La Haine, Leon, 50 First Dates, Don't Mess With the Zohan, City of Lost Children, Hard Boiled, Constantine, Shoalin Soccer, Azumi, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Appleseed, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, A Fist Full of Travellers Cheques (we miss you Rik .. with a silent P). The Love Guru, Captain America Winter Soldier, The Orphanage, Prophecy, Benny and Joon ....

Books: anything by Neil Gaiman, anything by Iain M Banks (also sorely missed), anything Asimov, The Broken Sword, Hammer's Slammers, anything Phillip K ♥♥♥♥, anything William Gibson, anything Bill Bryson, although the Australian one was probably the most gob-smacking (did they really have a nuclear detontation that no one noticed?) ....

TV/Series: Dr Who, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Jekyll and Hyde, Breaking Bad, Dexter, first series of Earth Final Conflict, Top Gear, IT Crowd, Big Bang Theory, Friends (first time I watched it - can't watch it now really), Samurai Jack, Mythbusters (sometimes ^_^ can drive you a little mad if watched too much) .. and all the other titles I will think of once I stop typing.
