Games is a ton of fun with interesting out of the box solutions to the ARPG genre. The launch is a bit of a clusterf*ck, but its getting better now. Once the server issues are sorted this game is an easy buy for the fans of the genre. Between D4 and PoE, less cluttered overcomplex bs more gameplay, but not room temperature IQ simple as D4. With seasons and additional content updates this game will yield hundreds if not thousands of hours of fun for what like 30 bucks? Easy recommend.

The best ARPG around still. Big learning curve, but lots of content creator to learn from and once you get the hang of all the different mechanics you will never look back.

The beta build was better optimised than the early access/release build. No wonder the "months old build" in beta, gave the sense that it will get even bettter from there, before dropping this buggy mess.
On state of the art hardware barely get more than 50fps and dips into 25-30 fps territory in intensive battles. Lets not even talk about hard crashes and game breaking bugs where you have to exit mid game because you can't respawn or thrown into the server where nobody can spawn to begin with. Stuck in crouch position where you can't stand up so you have to exit again.

Other issue is the complete LACK of content, they had an extra year to develop this BF and put in like 3 weapons from each class for a total of around 22 weapons????? WTF?? BF4 had more SMG's alone!!!! 7 maps which are decent, but few.

Hazard zone was dubbed "Tarkov-like" , well its just a shell of an extraction-royale game, barely no point in playing it as all you get is currency where you can go back in with better gear, but even if you survive you have to pay again for the same gear to go back in!!! No special unlocks/rewards or progression at all for playing that mode. It can be a bit fun if you have a full 4-man pre-made team with your friends, but playing with your friends is the only fun factor.

Saving grace: Portal - you can play the much better BF games in 2042! But only on two maps each, which makes for a byte sized experience of some 10-15 year old BF games that done it WAAAAY better. At this point you might as well just install the actual BF4/BC2 games and play those for the full experience.

Oh not to mention, people are so tryhard, they had to xp farm bots in portal clogging the servers and every ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and their mom is rolling max gear and maxed out vehicles. Yeah, vehicles are so OP they ae dominating the whole experience btw, hit 3 rockets at side of tanks? Rolls into cover happily then comes back to blast you. Hovercrafts everywhere squashing players and frontlines.

Man... and the day one patch was the 1.5 gig one yesterrday... thought they will fix at least SOME issues with a big patch today, but guess we will have to wait a couple weeks now... Don't even get me started on the "specialists" , half of them bloody useless and so disassociated with the games setting its unreal. At the end of the game they are laughing and cracking jokes like they came out of Maccy D with a happy meal, rather than fighting for survival in a world thats falling apart LOL.

TL/DR: Can't recommend to spend money on this in current state, unless you have some friends to play with, which makes it bearable. (oh, you better not be planning on playing with more than 3 friends at a time, because the party size is limited to 4...)

Been playing this with a logitech x52 hotas and oculus rift s on decent hardware. There may be some bugs and small issues they need to fix, but I personally have not run into any. Game never crashed on me or had any game breaking bugs that would take away from the experience. My 16 hrs in so far has been a blast tasting the story and going online with friends. Its not a AAA title, which the price reflects. I can recommend this game if you got the hardware to fully immerse you or are a die hard star wars/space flight fan.

Very nice social game. Can transform into a gazillion different avatars and hang out in a gazillion different environments to chill on your own or meet new people around the globe. Share ideas or just talk about random ♥♥♥♥. Using oculus rift s, but can only imagine how this tech will shape up in the next 4-5 years if we have haptic and better fov, it will be so great to actually feel when you headpat a loli or hug someone :)

A second life is not enough to explore and level everything and 2017 content updates will add to this vast world. Highly recommend for those who don't have to waste their time with stupid day jobs and can lower their standards of human needs, after all who needs a shower every day? Gotta get those raw materials!!

Edit: It's a chill game for a weekend when you are bored af out of your mind. It is though not what it was advertised to be sadly. On the bright side hopefully they will patch the hell out of the game to make it more value for money.

I'll be honest I pirated the game at first to try it out and see if the hype is true, bought the game the week after. It's not just the visuals that are awesome, but the realism and challenge, yet still fun and enjoyable it's just incredible. Every morning I wish I wouldn't have to go to work and could just play this all day. Finnally found a worthy use for my G27. After a full day of racing over the weekend my arms went numb and it filled me with joy. If you are hesitant, don't be, just buy it, you will have a lot of game hours logged worthwhile.

Seriously I played KF1 a LOT and couldn't wait until this came out. Gonna buy my mates some copies so we can dosh together! Being early access don't mean nothing, apart from waiting for the additional content to be put in. The game runs SMOOTH and there are barely any bugs I could notice tonight while playing.
If you fancy some nice weekends with a few beers and friends on teamspeak I absolutely recommend this masterpiece.
