Constant tech issues, texture bugs, ♥♥♥♥ breaking after updates, garbage DLC policy.

After an initial positive review and more play time I have come to the conclusion that while this game had the potential to be a masterpiece it's severely limited by it's lack of polish and features.

The story, environments and soundtrack are fantastic and what make this game unique. Overall, however, considering this was marketed as an open world RPG it's merely okay rather than truly great and definitely less than what many of us expected out of the studio that produced Witcher 3.

There's a whole lot of basic RPG features missing, the city feels hollow and static compared to what Rockstar and even CDPR themselves delivered with previous titles, there's also about a billion bugs that range from annoying to game breaking.
It's quite evident that this game needed more development time.
Performance is good though on my PC.

Arguably one of the best games ever - too bad Psyonix sold out to Epic Games, dropping Linux, Mac and the Steam version like a rock just to put it on their own ♥♥♥♥ store.

6 Years after the initial broken release of the Master Chief Collection on Xbox One this release still doesnt have comparable multiplayer netcode to the original 360 version of Halo 3.

Buy this for the singleplayer nostalgia, not for the multiplayer.

The game's story starts off strong, combined with the good voice acting and the pretty environments it's fun wandering around, listening to the radio chatter, but overall the plot doesn't lead anywhere and falls flat towards the end. The setup seems really good, but it's not used to its full potential.
Right now this game is too expensive for a 3-4 hour detour through a beautiful wood with an anticlimactic ending.

I didn't expect this game to have such an impact on me.
This game is not perfect (although it's damn close in my opinion):
The lip-syncing is off, furthermore you really have to appreciate artstyle over high end graphics and it's gameplay is not for everyone, but damn, it's hard to not love or care for the characters. Life is Strange is incredibly well written and a rollercoaster ride for the feelings - especially with its soundtrack.
Amazing work DONTNOD Studios
