------New review 5/6/2024 after Sony reversed the enforcement of requiring a PSN account to play this game
-------------------------
Sony STILL has the game locked from purchase in 120 countries. They haven't reversed any decision at all, just posted some tweet saying they won't. Sony is trying to play some slicky-boy nonsense in the background thinking they can play the community for a bunch of fools.

========Review 5/4/2024 at time of Sony's decision to perform a PSN account enforcement=======================
I don't even OWN a Playstation! Why would I need/want a PSN account?!?!

Greatly disappointed with the additional forced change of requiring a PSN account in order to play the game.
Not only does this force users who are in the many countries to either break the ToS and risk their entire account (you can't fake your country of origin) but it also locks those out of playing the game entirely.

This forced change by SONY directly contradicts their stated language on their official website that said (said is an important word here because it's past tense) you would not need to connect to a PSN account to play a game on Steam. This statement on the OFFICIAL SONY WEBSITE was changed incognito with no announcement or warning. This is because SONY KNOWS that they misled people and changed the words after the fact in the hope that no one noticed. We did.

This is a clear and obvious case of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT because the SONY website's statements apply to all SONY games, including the ones on steam and overrules the individual game's TOS or rules.

LET IT BE KNOWN--YOU WERE SCAMMED AND SONY CHANGED THE LANGUAGE ON YOU THINKING YOU WOULDN'T NOTICE BECAUSE THEY THINK YOU ARE STUPID

Crazy Machines is a wonderful puzzle solving contraption game that gets your mind thinking in unique ways in order to advance to the next level.
This is a game genre I remember playing as a child, and it's so wonderful to see a new version. The custom build level will have you creating contraptions for hours and hours of play with friends or personal entertainment.

Early Access Review
Pros:
Gives you that 'clean' satisfaction.
Ding of happiness when an object is clean.
Funny story (read the texts you get during missions)
Devs update with new content from time to time.
Faster than power washing IRL.

Cons:
Feel like the cleaning solution runs out too fast and dispenser is sporadic chaos.
I've got 10k+ after beating game. 4k-ish after buying every item, decoration, and outfits. Kind of wish there was other things to spend money on, like a firehose or something.

Suggestions:
The texts mention buildings, locations, and other things that could be added. Like some restaurant. Would be interesting to wash businesses. A public statue.

More fun with friends. But simple enough control-the-galaxy game. Some more complicated details involve planet management and modifying your ships.

I hate how war works in Humankind.
1. I can't kill/wipe someone out because it automatically pushes them to take over a new territory. I KNOW they have no units. I killed them all. So what, am I forced to turn them into a vassle or surround their territory with my own first? That's going to take until turn 200, when I can easily kill someone on turn 50!!!
2. But wait, there's MORE. Every time I fight the A.I.? The very moment I destroy their city defenses and take over the zone, it FORCES me to accept their surrender.... But I don't want to.. Because you automatically spawned an outpost and are still alive.... Nope, I'm forced to accept surrender...
3. Then, if that isn't annoying enough... While I'm killing the A.I., the roaming barbarian tribesmen come into my area, raise all my outposts, and then screw me over, costing me hundreds, if not THOUSANDs of influence to rebuild.
4. All that influence I mentioned? Yeah, it increases and increases... Because the game credits me taking over enemy city as claiming a new city. So that exponential growth of influence that increases to "prevent you from getting too many cities and too powerful" takes place, and even though I have 1 city (because I keep raising former enemy A.I. cities), it costs me 1,020 influence to build my 2nd ACTUAL city of the game....

This game is built with only 1 style of game play victory in mind. Obtaining the highest "fame" score and waiting out the turn-limit. A turn limit, which, even though you put game settings to NO TURN TIMER forces you to have a turn limit. Yes, timer =/= limit, but where is the unlimited turns option?!?!?!!

In the 3+ hours I've played this on a free-weekend, I've received 1 game crash every 30 minutes. I would not pay for this product since it is in an unplayable state. No other game crashes like this and it isn't an internet connect. Heck, this game says that it can't connect to the Steam Servers for some reason, yet I maintain internet access constantly while playing. I can even test connectivity by downloading a game in the background while playing this game. Even minimizing other running applications does not prevent the crashes I receive. Unplayable state.

Hours of fun, though the A.I. makes me resort to wanting to kill everything all the time since they are never happy. Diplomatic victory is rather difficult unless you figure out strategies and play specific civilizations to achieve this. Funnest is always world domination victory.

I don't know why I put over 300 hours on this game... But after destroying a mouse clicking so much.. I can whole-heartedly say that no one should play this game. It's simple, pointless, and provides as much entertainment as scribbling circles on a sheet of paper over and over again.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the creators, but I think people should save themselves and do something else with their time.
