I don't recommend it. I really liked it. Story was great, visuals were great. It was fun. Only 4-5 crashes through the campaign until I got to end game boss fight as Cere. End game boss battle crashes every time. An internet search also reveals that other players have the same crash preventing you from continuing and finishing the game. Can't finish one of the end game bosses and that is really disappointing, so I can't recommend.

Early Access Review
Is fun, will probably get better. If you like these kind of games, I'd go for it.
Music is cool, as well as the atmosphere.

Hit detection needs to be improved, to include things hitting you and you hitting things. You have no idea you are taking damage other than you died. Better collision detection is really needed because it would help you feel more connected to the game. Its kind of hard to judge distance and combined with the hit detection, it was difficult judging how to get around some of the traps. The portal with the traps was somewhat impossible.
Save for continue would be a really nice addition, perhaps at at the floor level.
Sound effects need a bit of work right now. The traps making noise should fade away once you walk away. Sometimes you just hear the scissor sound of some trap and you just can't escape it until you go down a floor.
A more intuitive tutorial could make the game more approachable. An option section where it can walk you though doing some of the combos interactions would go along way.

Things that might be good as an add- a dodge, run button, optional showing of damage dealt, a jump button, something that would better let you know an enemy snuck around behind you and that's why you are taking damage when you thought you had your back to the corner?

I enjoyed it. Game lacks some overall polish and has some occasional glitches where you can get stuck behind playable areas. The end comes on pretty suddenly and doesn't allow you to explore and get everything you might have missed if you progress too far, so do it early.

I've had my fun but I can't recommend based on Devs perm banning on their servers. Rust is still in heavy development at this time and their blind and punitive approach to player behavior ruins it for me. Play something else.

Completely not worth $60. Decent budget software for a simple budget but company is moving to subscription based service to be able to use any new feature they advertise. Look for another option and I'm sure you'll be able to find a free one with more features.

Waited years for Patriots, settled for a politically controversial "The Division." Realized I was duped once again by Uplay. Apparently they don't know too much about the internet or how it works. Oh, my brother also got banned for trying to log into his account while uplay was down. Way to go Uplay. Wait for a few months before buying any Uplay game and pay 10% on a site that sells keys.

Best looking game I have ever played. It is looking like it might be the best single player adventure game I have ever played but I'll save that until I play it a bit more. It is everything that was good about Witcher 2 but better. The combat system has expanded over its predecessor. You can still engage in fist fights with people who challenge you but this time, your punching melee is integrated in the same way you use your swords and can dodge or roll while moving around. The story and lore are greatly expanded, with much more depth to many topics and interests in the game world. Voice acting is superb and dialogue options now indicate which options lead out of the conversations for people who could care less about what game characters have to say. This improvement alone should tailor more towards players looking for a straight hack and slash play through. Travel and exploration are amazing, especially with the addition of the horse riding. You can summon your horse by whistling and he will run to you from where he you left it last at any time you need. by holding down one button, your horse will stick to a trail or road it is running on and save you the trouble of keeping up with the turns. I am running an fx 8350 and a r9 290x and am getting a very stable average of 55 fps (vsync enabled) with the lowest drop in fps to 48 with all ultra settings. Nvidia's hair technology needs to be turned completely off to achieve this, otherwise expect it to at least half your frame rate with an AMD based GPU. Hair still looks great, even with this option turned off. I have also tried the game on medium and high setting and it also looked very good- it is obvious they spent a lot of time optimizing this game to run fantastic on a wide range of PC's. Controller support is fantastic, so you should definitely use one if you have one. Overall, I would be shocked if this game didn't get game of the year. It certainly deserves it.

Things you need-- Someone to play this with and some gamepads.
Hours and hours of fun. Very easy to learn but will take you a long time to master. There is a reason this game rarely goes on sale more than 15-33%. It's that good.
Amazing all around, don't let the simple graphics fool you.
Only downside is its lack of online multiplayer.

Great game hidden by a landslide of problems. I once had the game running and it looked great with no slowdowns anywhere but then there was a new update- now this game won't work at all. Even if you manage to get it working like I did before, there are still a lot of audio issues where the sound can't be heard during cutscenes and a few other similiar problems. Also, you can't deny the updates or you will be signed out of gfwl, so that is a huge killer as well. Try verifying cache files? - Well you will find that you will have to redo the updates all over again through gfwl. I've tried all workarounds I could find for hours and hours- still can't get the game working.

This game is awesome. I've been sucked into this game and can't stop playing it since I started. Tons of over the top humor, action, and hugely varied missions. If you loved sr3, then you will ike this one too. If you crossed the Crackdown with Saints Row the III, you'd have a perfect cross that is Saints Row IV. One thing you will notice when you play this game is that some of the textures appear to glitch and move but this is all intentional while playing in the simulation your character plays in and if you look around the game you can tell that itsn't a real graphics glitch. This game runs perfect at all max graphics settings (and looks great!) on my fx 8350 cpu at all times for anyone who has an amd cpu and was curious about that. Controller support is perfect as well, I don't ever have to pick up my keyboard once I launch this game.
