How to make pancake:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla (if using).
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined; lumps are okay.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over medium-high heat.
Pour 1/4 cup batter onto griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges set (2-3 mins), then flip and cook until browned (2-3 mins).
Serve hot with butter and syrup or desired toppings.
