Early Access Review
Derivative of other games in ways that make it addictive but give it next to no depth aside from the surface level. Fun for a while but your time & money are better spent supporting and enjoying better, more original games.

This game has the big sexy. But if u want de gameplay, go for boneworks.

I was incredibly wrong about this game.

(This is still not a full review)

Synth Riders is great. It's not perfect, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is this one challenging game!
Let me start with the basics. Synth Riders is most easily described as "Beat Saber without the sabers." But that does it one hell of a disservice.

The Gameplay

Synth Riders gameplay is really good. Way better than I said in my first review, but not perfect. The noises during the game tend to get mixed in with the song, which is more of a minor gripe. Another minor problem is that lining up (Balls?) in this game isn't very satisfying. My main problem, is the difficulty scaling. The gameplay doesn't hold up when it is set to normal or easy. It's almost too easy.

The Music

Still 10/10. Unless you don't like Synthwave, because from what I can tell, there isn't much variety. (Other than user created levels)
