Hellblade teaches a lot about people with psychosis and other mental health problems and provides a very unique experience that can only be achieved through interactive media. The sound design is unbelievably amazing, and I have never experienced something like that in any other game. The combat has a great flow and feels very impactful and satisfying, and the visuals and level design is what you would expect from Ninja Theory, but taken to the next level.

Very atmospheric Metroidvania style platformer with amazing visuals and music. The animations look great, and controls feel very tight and polished. For a platformer the game never gets repetitive as new mechanics get introduced almost till the end of the game, and the levels are designed in way, that they require you to use all of them to progress. The games weakest point might be its story, which is quite simple, but I feel that nothing more was needed, because it fit to the game very well and had some trully beautiful and touching moments. This is by far the most beautiful platformer I have played.

In some ways The Talos Principle is quite similar to Portal 2, and I would say that it is just as good if not better.
The puzzles are very logical, and they get more challenging as new mechanics are introduced, and you move forward through all the different levels. They never got frustrating, and I was never contempt to look up the solution on the Internet, and that is not to say, that I never had hard time with them, but it was very satisfying to figure them out on my own. For people who want even more challenge, there are additional puzzles, which are not required to complete the game.
For me, the strongest part of this game was its story and setting. While Portal 2 goes for the humoristic look on the artificial intelligence, this game takes a very serious look on these matters, and without a doubt succeeds in doing so. The narrative revealed through many text and audio logs is very compelling, and can get very philosophical at times, but that is what I liked about this game. The game likes to ask some hard questions, and in quite few cases I was doubting if the answer I gave, was the right one.
I was always in a hurry to finish my puzzles, just so I could get a new piece of information about the world and its history. The closer I got to the ending, the more I found myself wanting to find out what lies at the end of this game.
Another strong part of this game was its sound and music that always was very fitting and calming. All the audio logs were beautiful and very well acted.
When I started the game, I never expected that i would get so immersed in it. I enjoyed it all the way through, and I recommend it to anyone who have any interest in puzzle games. You will definitely enjoy this game, if you played and liked either one of the following games: Portal 2, The Swapper and Braid.
The Talos Principle would be my game of the year, if not for Dark Souls 2.
