I have been eyeing Ender Lilies for the past 3 years. I was introduced to this game via its incredible soundtrack, and ever since has lived in the back of my mind. Just finished the game and words can't really describe how much I appreciate this game. It's got very solid gameplay, but more than that, the atmosphere created by this game is unparalleled. The entire experience is humblingly somber. The tale this game has to tell is very much worth experiencing. It is my honor to have finally finished this game.

Very happy to give this game a positive review. Hailing back to older RPGs, Monster Crown: Sin Eater stands as a fun and quality monster taming RPG. Combat unfolds in turn-based fights where your monsters trade blows with your opponents. The game isn’t afraid to throw big bosses with lots of HP at the player. However, the game’s monster breeding system gives you all the tools you need to create immensely powerful allies. At any point, you can rethink your strategy and employ new tactics. What makes this system even more enticing is that every monster has 5 “hybrid” forms to choose from. Taking its stats from its parents, its up to you to decide if you want to specialize a creature or try to create a powerhouse.
I think the game is also standout with its audio and visuals. The entire game has fantastic pixel art. The monsters in particular really benefit from some added detail compared to the first game. I'd also say the game has nn equally great ost to boot.
I’ve always hesitated to recommend the original Monster Crown. The game was great, but it was unfortunately plagued with technical issues. I’m pleased to say that throughout my first play through I encountered no tech issues at all. The game ran great with no crashes or stutters.
If you’re a fan of older style RPGs, Monster Crown: Sin Eater is a wonderful outing. The main story seems to last 30-40 hours, but I’ll likely be spending many more making new monsters, exploring Crown Nation, and finding secrets!
