More of the same from the first Hades but:

No more double, triple, etc dash. They also added a cooldown to the dash that is really annoying. You can now run but it sucks, it feels like you're literally sliding on ice or oil. Or whatever. Combat feels now clunky especially with the Axe. Not to talk about the first new ranged weapon that is hideous. Do I miss the bow :(

If you haven't played the first Hades you probably will have a hard time figuring out what is going on;

Lots of new stuff added such as flowers (with seeds to plant) minerals, blackjack cards to upgrade your stats, the green things so that you can add more cards and more I guess? Anyway, It becomes extremely grindy to get all of these things after a certain point. Unnecessarily grindy.

Maybe it's just me but some (a lot?) of the new boons are really weak. I struggle to find good ones and I end up using the same ones. But hey maybe that's just me.

So why is my review positive? Because this game is still addictive and I can't stop playing it. Thanks for reading and have fun playing Hades 1.1 2

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game, but I didn't like many things.
The story feels boring and plain (and all the plots were garbage to me)
The combat system is the worst thing about this game, repetitive and not very imaginative (heat actions are always the same basically, and you spam them to the victory)
I've had some fps problems with some specific cinematics, one of them being Majima entering the arena. I had to skip a couple more because they were laggy somehow.

The Osaka castle/tigers fight would've been cool with a decent fighting system. The scenes where Kiryu kicks the tigers asses is cool, the part where you have to fight them, not at all.
Oh and back to the story, I rarely skip parts in games in general, but after chapter 10, I had to, Kiwami 2 is full of these and there are just too many, and not in a good way.

But yeah buy it to understand Yakuza's lore I guess

Boss fights are garbage, everything else is great

Story, gameplay...this game sucks, maybe it's great to learn hiragana, but after lesson 4 these hiragana things started stomping me hard. I prefer using language learning apps, youtube, or whatever instead of playing this very boring game
I'm not grinding on such a game, lol

This game is a freakin' masterpiece, and I'm not even exaggerating. The catchy story, every single location is simply beautiful, all the bizzarre characters, activities and so on. I can't even express how much I loved this game, seriously.
Do yourself a favour and buy this already.
