Wicked fun game with everything you want from an RPG - great story, gameplay, characters, all that good stuff. You take the role of a geezer who just turned into a vampire, and now gotta forge your way into the vampire underworld, choosing who you side with and what kind of vampire you are. You can be some monstrous ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or a nice guy, pretty much. But be too much of a prick and you'll go nuts and kill everyone, so don't be too douche-y.
The game is definitely engaging in that it can keep you entertained with all its genuine characters. Even when you're on a blatant fetch quest the kindred or kine you're sorting out or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over keep it enjoyable, and the voice acting is top notch. As for actual gameplay, you'll be running about a lot, but also shooting (or slicing/smashing) up a bunch of different halloween scares like zombies, vampires, werewolves, etc. in some super satisfying combat.
