It's a great game with some issues.

The game can be addicting even though there is no story. The main objective of the campaign mode is to destroy all the plague hearts on the map, and looting nearby buildings to collect resources to keep your community going. In addition to destroying plague hearts you also get random side quests from other survivor groups. After you’ve played the game for a while the side quests do tend to get repetitive. Once you’ve destroyed every plague heart you can move to a new map to start over again. Moving to a new map keeps all of your current items and brings any vehicles you have parked at your base. Completing all of the quests in a map will make that community no longer playable and all of the survivors will enter into a legacy pool, in which you can bring three survivors into a new map.

All in all I love this game and Undead Labs continually updates it every month. Single player is fun but it’s even better with friends. The only issue I have with Co-op is when you have random people join your game. There is no saying what a random person will do and with perma-death they could end up getting some of your best community members killed. So I suggest just play with people you know.

I love this game. This was my vote for Steam's 2018 game of the year.

Up until my 80th gameplay hour I played this game entirely in Windows. Then I started to play it in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS via Steam Play. Since then I've only been playing it in Linux. It works very well in Linux. The only issue I have is occasional freezing. The freezes only happen once every few hours, so it's not frequent enough to make it a deal breaker. Other than that it works perfectly fine.

This game is very addicting.

I miss Terror is Reality. This is just okay but it should've been included in the main game.

Never attempt to play without a controller.

I understand that when this first came out it was plagued with bugs and the horrendous GFWL, but since then work has been done to fix the issues and purge GFWL completely. In a 8 hour gaming session I only experienced one bug, but it wasn't something a quick reload couldn't fix (Although it would've sucked if the last time I saved had been hours ago). This game operates very well.

I love the Dead Rising games and of them Dead Rising 2 is my favorite. My only issue is that not enough people play it now to get a session of Terror is Reality going.

Easliy one of the best games to hit Linux

In my opinion, It's not as good as the first Costume Quest but it is still a great Halloween themed game. My biggest issue (that took a little to get over) was the change to the combat system.

Pinned a demon to the wall then hacked him into bits just because.

The game is fun to play for 30 minute intervals. It is nice to look at but it gets overly repetitive fast.
