Critical Review of Delta Force (2024) – A Great Alternative to Warzone and Battlefield, Ruined by Cheaters

Delta Force (2024) by Team Jade has emerged as a surprisingly strong free-to-play shooter, delivering impressive visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5 and well-thought-out gameplay. For players dissatisfied with Warzone or Battlefield, Delta Force offers a promising alternative. However, there is one massive issue that significantly affects the experience: cheaters.

What Delta Force Does Right
Visually, the game is stunning. The Unreal Engine 5 provides detailed environments, realistic lighting, and smooth animations. The gunplay feels precise and satisfying, offering solid feedback. Additionally, the game’s tactical focus—with large maps, destructible environments, and a balanced mix of teamwork and action—adds depth to the experience.

For a free-to-play title, its monetization system is surprisingly fair—no pay-to-win mechanics, just cosmetic microtransactions. This makes Delta Force a serious alternative to Battlefield, which has declined in quality in recent years.

The Major Issue: Cheaters Everywhere
Unfortunately, the entire gameplay experience is overshadowed by an overwhelming number of cheaters. Wallhacks, aimbots, and even speed hacks are common in nearly every lobby. Worse still, the game’s anti-cheat measures seem practically nonexistent. Despite Team Jade’s promises to address the issue, little progress has been made.

In ranked matches, encountering opponents who land laser-precise headshots through walls is almost inevitable. This not only leads to frustration but also makes competitive play nearly impossible. Even casual matches are affected, as many cheaters use them to "warm up" before jumping into ranked mode.

Team Jade Must Act—Or the Game Will Die
A free-to-play shooter can be amazing in every way, but if cheaters dominate the game, legitimate players will leave in droves. Since Delta Force has the potential to compete with Warzone and Battlefield, failing to address this issue could be fatal.

Possible Solutions:

A more effective anti-cheat system (the current one seems ineffective)

Immediate and strict bans for cheaters

Frequent updates with a stronger focus on cheat prevention

A reliable report system that actually leads to consequences

Conclusion
Delta Force (2024) has the potential to be a major success—its gameplay, graphics, and fair monetization are real strengths. However, the game’s fate ultimately depends on its anti-cheat measures. If things remain as they are, it’s only a matter of time before this shooter suffers the same fate as many other free-to-play games: a cheater-infested wasteland that drives away fair players.

Score: 7/10 (Currently heavily impacted by the cheating issue)
