The drive between Seattle and Portland on I-5 is just as soul-crushing as in real life.

Really though, as a life-long Washington resident, this is an amazing recreation. Obviously a lot of detail had to be cut (the transitions around Seattle feel particularly jarring), but for a 1:20 scale they did an amazing job. I was really surprised how much detail they were able to put into highway 101 around the Olympic Peninsula, and the attention to detail on highway 20 through the Cascades is insane. The ferries are also a great touch.

If I had one request, it'd be Mount Rainier. It seems they went with St. Helens instead (which they did a great job of), but the drive to Rainier is definitely one of the state's most iconic. They at least included White Pass, but roads inside the national park would've been great. All in all though, this is an awesome and faithful DLC.

Above and beyond recreation of the original Half Life. Stays faithful to the original while adding its own twist so that it stays exciting to new and old players all the same.

I've played this game since the original beta back in 2014. I've seen it grow and evolve into what it is today. There have been moments where I thought it was done I was ready to give up on it, but it's stayed alive. Over the last year or so with the work Bungie has been doing, it's become one of my favorite games to play. Period.

The new player experience (at the time of this review) can be very daunting and confusing. But if you're willing to work on learning the ropes a bit, I promise this is one of the rewarding games out there right now.
