Released it in an unfinished, horrible state with lots of annoying physics bugs. Also most of the assets look horrendous. It's Cyberpunk all over again...

Don't get me wrong. Hogwarts legacy is a great game, visually appealing and has a somewhat worked out story (and here comes the but) but:

1) I feel like I'm being forced into a character I do not agree with.
2) My choices do not matter whatsoever.
3) The conversations feel somewhat unnatural.
4) The forbidden curses do not make any sense
5) No consequences

* It exceeded my expectations on:
→ Graphics
→ Map size
→ Detail
→ Quests
* Everything else was AAA standard

Now to explaining it:

1)
My character (a female Ravenclaw) seems to accept everything without any buts.
Personally I would have stopped a few characters, which I will not name, before they could have
even thought about doing what they did. Unfortunately, I did not have the option to.

2)
Really sorry to disappoint, but your choices do not matter.
If you make a choice, the only thing that is different is the dialog in that specific situation. (There are a few minor exceptions which are basically not noticeable)

3)
Pretty self-explanatory, but I felt like a mercenary grinding through all the quests as if it were my job.
The characters are not really relatable for me.

4)
I can use all three curses as often as I please and no one will give a fck.
Same thing in the story, a student uses them and nothing happens. No one is shaken by it or anything
close to it. At one point, a student says he might report him to the HEADMASTER after the other character used Arvada Kedavra. (Come on, who wouldn't report someone for murder)

5)
Like said in (4), there are no consequences on any of your actions, or at least you do not feel
like your actions have any consequences, which disappoints me.


Overall, I'd say it is another solid AAA game, but not as great as it could have been.
