The game is fantastic. People are review bombing the game because one of the devs said some ♥♥♥♥ about the Charlie Kirk assassination that right wingers disagree with, so their first instinct was to go review bomb this game because they know their voice means nothing anywhere else.
They are completely ignoring the fact that this dev was fired for the exact same comments he said about charlie kirk, but claiming that Sucker Punch just "allows their devs to say whatever they want."
A simple google search would tell you the dev was fired, they are just attacking this game because they have nothing better to do.

I actually recommend the game if you're looking for a high intensity, unique melee pvp game. it can be pretty fun but community is toxic af and the game has a decent learning curve for new players. Start with 1v1s after you finish the training to ease yourself into the flow of the game before you jump into 4v4s.

FIX. THE. PERFORMANCE.

No one cares about these "content" updates, no one cares about stupid collaborations.
We want the game to run on PC. This game came out in February, it is now August 23rd and the game still runs like trash.
Get it together capcom, this is embarassing.

Edit:
Monster Hunter x Fender collab... Really Capcom?

This game is really fun. A great coop game with a difficult gameplay loop that feels rewarding to really take your time and learn every angle.
That being said, this game sometimes feels a little too difficult.
Often times it feels like the AI are always aware of you, or at least can react to you at an unreasonably fast speed, often times dropping you instantly with a shot to the head that you had no chance to try to fight back against.
The damage in this game is also completely unbalanced.
Last game I played, I put half a mag from an assault rifle into a dude on car dealership, only for him to immediately put one in my chest and kill me instantaneously. I was wearing full coverage Steel plated Light armor with a ballistic mask.
It really bothers me how quickly we can die to these AI, yet they absorb damage like Space Marines.
I want to reiterate, I love this game alot, and desperately want to see it reach a golden state of gameplay, but at the moment it has some pretty heavy flaws that can leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Nerf the damage from the enemies, and their reaction times, and add the ability to heal injuries so that we don't accumulate massive amounts of damage from Terminator level NPCs, and die from getting punched in the gut at the very last enemy.

This game is probably one of my favorite current games to release. I've already put in over a hundred hours, maxed 3 classes in operations and unlocked nearly every chapter available.
Despite my issues with this game, I've found myself very immersed in the gameplay and lore of 40k as a whole. The Campaign is phenomenal, if not a little short. Play it side by side with the operations to get the full experience.
Now that my praise is out of the way I have to bring up a few complaints that I am aware they will be addressing in upcoming patches, however I still feel like they should be known.

The Matchmaking in this game;
Wow. Just Wow. Somehow, the matchmaking system just decides on a coin flip whether it works or not. I've had nothing but issues with trying to get games started up for operations, with recurring problems of friends being unable to join my sessions and having to restart 3-5 times before actually getting in, just for the game to crash and the process to start from the beginning. If I do finally get friends in, I have to dance around the 50 randos who join first before my friends, unfortunately having to kick them to make room for my friends before i've even selected a mission. Then when I am alone and wanting to play with randos, the matchmaking just doesn't work. I'm sure they're working hard to fix this, but the patch couldn't come fast enough.

The healing in this game. I'm sure there are mixed opinions over this one but I'm going to be honest with my opinion. The healing is kind of weak in this game. you take 80% damage from a single hit from a warrior, but get less than 5% back with every swing of a chainsword, and that only applies to contested health, which if you're not bulwark, depletes faster than you can realize its there. Most people right now are working around this by using weapons with large AOE damage, IE the melta gun, the grenade launcher, plasma gun with some aoe perks, etc. But they've already made clear this is a glitch and have every intention of nerfing it. If they do, thats fine, but I feel like they need to consider a work around for the lack of sustainability with contested health in this game. It is almost impossible to get back full contested health unless you have a bulwark, a fresh execute at the ready, or are just willing to dump all your stims to get back to 90% health, maybe.

My third and final issue, as well as somewhat of a personal issue.
My favorite class, Assault, heavily underperforms compared to every other class. The Perk tree does not help it at all, very little to help improve damage, health regen, survivability or ability regen. The ability has 2 uses. each use feels like a 45 second recharge, off the top of my head i'm not sure what it actually is but I can tell you it's way too long. On top of having a super long reload time for the ability, the Jump Pack only goes about 15 feet in the air. barely double that of your primaris marines average height. Compare this to the campaign and PVPs jump pack that breaks the stratosphere, the jump pack barely gets you above warrior height. Which sucks when you go up again literally anything taller than a warrior, or god forbid the whip warrior. Often times I'm interrupted out of my fully charged mid air hammer ground pound ability by an attack that grazed me at the last second, still consuming my ability but doing no damage to the target. And two items i feel like the Assault could greatly benefit from due to their high CC and aoe capabilities, the Plasma Pistol and the Power Sword, are excluded from assault for some ridiculous reason. Many classes feel like they are excluded from having a good variety of weapons that are for some reason locked behind 1-2 classes.

To summarize, fix matchmaking issues, work out a fair healing system in relation to the damage we take, and buff assault, also give it the plasma pistol and power sword.

7/10 until these are fixed, and then this game would be an easy 8.5/10

Incredibly fun game that improves on so much of the game mechanics from the first. The world feels a thousand times more rich coming from dark arisen. The Character creator is easily the best i've seen in a long time.
As for the issues this game has been facing.

Performance is very clearly a big issue right now and if that is something that bothers you, understandably, then I recommend waiting a few weeks for some performance patches to roll out.
I see alot of people complaining about the microtransactions in the game, which I will say, is a little silly to have in a single player action rpg. That being said.

There is a misconception that you cannot obtain any of the items from the MTX in game.
This is not true.

I have found numerous ferrystones, and have discovered several portstones around the map.
I am able to change my appearance in-game without the purchase of the 1.99 edit character purchase.
It is true that you cannot start a new game at the moment, but capcom has addressed that and plans to add it in.|

I think this game is a diamond in the rough. Give it some updates, and I think alot of peoples opinions will change.

Game is great. Recent patches have helped performance a ton, not completely but it's definitely heading in the right direction.
Pick up on sale when you can!
