An amazing game for people who take a liking to political topics. It's great to introduce legislation that you think, in real life would benefit the country greatly, and see that your approval rating goes up and you solve the problems in your city/state/country.

The game, can get a bit tedious and boring after a while, however. This is, I assume due to the fact that it's early access, so repetitive campaigning methods will be annoying, but it is very good to pick up if you're into games like these. If you are curious more about what the game play is like, I would recommend watching Jaames Johnsons' playthrough on YouTube. Because the game is small, there are little content creators recording videos on it. He is the only one I've seen that's made an entire playthrough of the game, where he plays good enough, but still does not ruin the beginners experience.

All in all, it's a very good game in it's current state with massive amounts of potential. I hope that the developers continue to work on this game, as it's slowly growing a nice community and has pretty good success, and the game has massive amounts of potential.

Best Expansion to date, adding in depth alternate history national focuses, reworked navy to make it WAY more interesting and more.

Only complaint I have for this is that it is pretty expensive.

I bought this game and couldnt understand one bit of how it worked and didn't understand how anyone could find it fun. I then got the Brave New World expansion which increased the game experience SIGNIFICANTLY making me addicted to this really easily. And let me tell you, there is nothing more satisfying then watching a small city state of yours grow into a rich empire great in every aspect.

I can finally understand the "1 more turn" jokes.

Although many people think this game isn't as good as older Total War titles, I still would consider it a wonderful strategy game and you should get it.
