One of the best og Cod game with a atmosphere that is still unrivaled by other CODs to this day. Multiplayer wise it's the safest COD game to play on Steam so don't worry about being doxxed or having your computer bricked.

The multiplayer is fundamentally broken. If you purchased this game after 2021 you will encounter a persistent "Profile could not be created" error that makes online play impossible. Activision support provided me generic, counterproductive troubleshooting—including steps that prevent Steam from even launching—only to eventually admit they offer "limited support" for legacy games. Don't waste your money on a non-functional experience. Not sure why they are selling 18 year old games they do not support for $20.
