The first thing to keep in mind is that HOMMOE (...ok this is a long acronym) is an Early Access. I usually do not like to buy games that are in Early Access, but, since I have been grown with HOMM, I did not care that much about the Early Access, so please guys (devs) do not lemme regret this decision.

Said that, the game is here, barebone of course, as good as can be functional for an Early Access, but with all the necessary stuff that can remind back in the good old times of HOMM.

There's a lot of refinement to do, from the very very very tiny area to click to let your hero enter the castle, to some more forgivable (at the moment) things about the placement of things (mobs and buildings) that are sometime quite odd, but again, functional.

It would be a nice touch to have (like in HOMM III) a more inspiring and thematic music inside the citadel, but these are truly details that can be added with time.

So, after 2 hours of game do I reccomand HOMMOE?

If you have grown with HOMM, 100% yes.
If you are looking for a turn based fantasy strategy game alternative to AoW and the DLC "morbus gravis", again, yes.

So far, so good, I will keep playing and waiting for more updates. Let's see....
