This company couldn't make microwave popcorn let alone make a video game. I'm getting 10 fps on low with my Nvidia 1070 like WTF?!?! I'm never touching a COD game again.

Oh an to boot "Historical Accuracy" is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke with women running around the battlefield, and not mention the "Black Female ♥♥♥♥'s".

This is probably one of my favorites of the expansions! The Elephants are badass! And the architecture and music are soo good, it is a worthy expansion of the Age of Empires name.

I have given postive reviews for the game and even one of the dlc's because I didn't want to believe that my hero Sid Meier’s and his company Fraxis would do me wrong after years of playing their games and always releasing great dlc's for fair prices and full of content. I pre-ordered the $100 special edtion that came with the coins and a art book, I was so excited to see another Civ game coming out, my inner child jumped for joy, when it came I ripped it open to find some kinda "Meh coins" and a "Small" artwork book (That they made look way bigger in the picture.) Anyway I enjoyed the base game, I did feel like things were missing that shouldn't be, and the god awful AI that if you flicked a speck of dirt near them, they would hate you for life, which I figured they would patch, but I let it pass since they added an entirely new mechanic to the game in the form of districts. The first dlc came, I was okay with it becuase I figured they would release one Civ to freshen things up until they released their big dlc. Unfortunately the big dlc never came and they gave multiple Civ's as indivdual dlc's. This is extremely unethical and a complete money grab, they stabbed us fans in the back and tried to milk us, and the child in me that grew up loving Sid Meier’s and his games died a little bit. I'm extremely dissapointed at Fraxis for this money grab, all of these Civ's & Scenarios should of been one DLC for around $15 maybe $20. For shame Fraxis for shame.

I actually have about 300+ hours in this game (Just not on Steam.) I had the disk version in 2001 when I was a kid and played countless hours, easily my favorite Civ game, just submitting my upvote to a game that is near and dear to my heart 10/10.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
-------------------------
Okay so the last Civilization game my review was simpily "Sid Meier's Is a god at making ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video games." and honestly it still applys here, but many updates need to happen to "Make Civ Great Again"

Pros +
+ Beautiful art style
+ Districts add new layer of depth and strategy.
+ Districts make your Civilization feel like you are actually expanding into an empire.
+ Unique looking units for every Civ. (Finally, now we don't need a mod for it.)
+ Day & Night cyles (Neat.)
+ New goverment & civics

Cons -
- Diplomacy is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, like you can do nothing without starting a World War with everyone, and trading feels like it's meaningless at improving a relationship. If you are justified for going to war, dosen't matter you a warmongering piece of trash that needs to be destroyed.
- Get denounced for breathing.
- The AI is still dumb as hell for the most part.
- High difficultys just make the AI cheat instead of playing better, or using strategy.
- AI still build their city's in timbuktu, they'll build a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damn city across the map.

Overall score: 7/10
To Devs: The AI needs updates, AND A LOT OF THEM. (Or we need mods for it.)
Relationships need to be easier to improve through good diplomacy.
AI needs to play smarter, even more so on high dicciculty. (They should cheat & play smart on Diety.)
AND WE NEED TO NOT GET DENOUNCED FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Side note: Sid Meier's, thank you for entertaining me for many years, I started with Civilization II and you have yet to let me down! Please make some updates and please don't let this be the first time you do.

Classic nostilga brought to a new generation in the perfect way.
(Multiplayer leaves a little to be desired though.)
