Hades is a masterpiece. Do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Half Life: Alyx, no matter how you slice it, is an amazing game. The graphics are breathtaking. The gunplay is tight and fluid. The writing is engaging. The environments are ridiculously detailed. Unless something totally unexpected happens, this is the game of the year.

But that's even cutting it short. HL:A is the most important video game to release in quite some time. It's the culmination of everything people have been saying VR "could be" for years now. With HL:A. VR finally IS those things. Like how the OG Half Life cemented narrative FPS's as a cultural mainstay, I have a suspicion Alyx will do the same for the VR shooter.

if you have a headset, stop reading the damn reviews and play the thing. If you don't have one, this is the game you've been waiting for. This is the system seller. And have no fear, if you get a headset because of this game, there will be plenty more content to enjoy once you're there.

Half Life games have a high bar. Each and every one has been a genre-defining masterpiece. Half Life: Alyx lives up to the series' legacy. It doesn't just reach the bar, it launches above it.

A genre-defining classic. Alyx is better though.

This isn't the prettiest game in VR. It isn't the most advanced, either.
But it's the most fun. I never fail to have a good time. Highly recommended.

Holy hell this game is fun. It isn't gonna hold your hand tho, so be ready for that.

This game just feels amazing. You feel like a superhero. And despite the fact that it should cause, motion sickness, I got none.

It's also a great workout, although it doesn't feel like it. You're having fun, you take the headset off, and you're drenched.

But, like I said, it won't hold you hand. I did both tutorials, then hopped in a game and promptly got last place. I worked it up to 5th before I got off.

To sum this review up, I'm having a lot of fun with this game. I would reccomend it for anyone with a VR headset.

Best exercise app for VR, IMO. Needs a bit more content, but it being updated regularly. Reccomended.

Pirate this game if you want to play it. Do not suppourt Bethesda until they revert Creation Club.

Wow. Just wow. This game had me hooked from the get-go, and didn't let go until (literally) the moment I uninstalled the game. That is not an exxageration. I did not look away from my monitor for 3 hours. This game is a trip, and one best done in one sitting. I'm not even sure this game *has* a save function. Just buy it. You won't regret it. It's worth 10x the $1.50 I payed for it.

Played a lot on Xbox, got it on here. LITERALLY MY FAVORITE PLATFORMER OF ALL TIME! The controls are crispy, the graphics nice, the story hilarious, and the narrator perfect. The online play is waaaaaaaay too much fun as well. Couldn't reccomend this game enough.
