Finally decided to beat this game after the enhanced patch came out. Game is pretty easy, besides spindlebeasts, but the platforming is a bit hard sometimes, which instantly kills you if you fail most times. I'd say 90% of my deaths were platforming deaths. Most amount of attempts on any boss was probably about 5, averaging at about 2-3 attempts. It was very forgiving with the amount of heals you can get and the boss damage wasn't too bad with a heavy armor build.

I did a 1h axe build a ground out the axe from the splendor creed, and fully upgraded it in the middle of the game which could have made the game easier, im unsure, the wiki said its not the strongest axe unless you have 25 dex, which i never got.

The game starts you at level 460 with all 3 jobs you choose at max after the tutorial or level 1 with nothing unlocked. So you have grind all the way up to the point at which you could have started the game. This is bad game design, i have no idea how to play if i start at 460 and no attachment to the character, and if i start at 1 ill be spending tens/hundreds of hours to just catch up to where I could've started 5 minutes in. Also only 4 character slots and 5 base classes.

Beat the game on Veteran as my first play through, definitely recommend it, getting 1-shot by basic enemies from poison/bleed stacks adds that extra amount of excitement. Lots of build variety that you can switch on the fly, bosses are fun to figure out whats the best way to cheese them. Sadly only about 8 hours for a first playthrough without going for the kill achievements, unless you actively try for them. Once you beat the game you unlock 2 additional challenge modes, as well as a story extender. However the story of this game isn't its strongest part, the gameplay definitely way better.

anime

A souls-like with heavy action rpg elements. The entire game is voice acted which is a surprise for most anime games. Every enemy has a wide swing making your dodges have to be a little more precise. Not much enemy variation, though. Bosses aren't hard in the base game, no boss took me more than 4 attempts to beat, have not attempted the dlc bosses yet.


The dlc is a little deceptive if you are looking at it as a souls-like but if you look at as an anime game it is fair. The dlc are mini-dungeons that have a brand new boss at the end, most of the mini-dungeons in the base game used previous defeated bosses. The dlc also comes with cosmetics for your npc partners when certain conditions are met, as well as some cosmetics for your character. Considering most anime games charge you about the same price for cosmetics it is fair in that sense, though if you were to compare it to dark souls where you get much more content for your money, then it is not fair.

My favourite game within the series by far, I love all the branching paths, and there is no set path on how to complete the game, the builds in this game are very RPG, and almost every build is viable PvE. There are unique builds in this game like a Mundane build, which to my knowledge is the only game with it. The biggest part of this game is your knowledge of the game itself, there are many hidden things you need to know, like adaptability, if you go into it blind it may be a very hard game. Exploration is great, at the start of the game there are 2 paths from the hub, but after you kill one specific boss it opens up to 5, depending on what you buy. The health system is reminiscent of demon souls, if you have never played demon souls, you may hate the health mechanic.

Another remake of Age of Empires II, this one has all of the DLC from Age of Empires II HD at half of the cost, with extra races included. This is a windows 10 only version however, although the developers say it does work on windows 7 & 8 but they will not support any issues with those operating systems, so buy at your own risk.

Fun metroidvania game, using a turbo button with poisoned arrows can trivalize some of the game however.

Fun little story game, it has 3 parts and each take about an hour to finish.
