Surprised to hear it wasn't UE4 or something, but actually an engine made in house by the studio. Good for them, worth a buy.

monster hunter is probably one of my favourite game series, MHW plays at the right speed and keeps a lot of the immersion elements vs the faster and more arcade-y gameplay featured in rise

The game was pretty bad when it came out, with Phantom Liberty it is finally a coherent product.

Solid for an Indie game. Writing is a little weak in my opinion, but the gameplay is enjoyable and its worth a buy. You'll get a good 40-60 hours out of the game.

one of the best fps in the last 10 years, funny how a non-AAA studio can make AAA titles look like clowns. Seriously worth a pick up. Keep it up devs!

Tentative yes: This is best bought about a year after the game is released. I still crashes, especially in multiplayer so be wary. I'd give it another 4-6 months before buying.

Edit: Most of them are resolved now, good buy when on sale.

Feels like a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, but completely unique and revolutionary in its own way. The writing is excellent, the ambiance and mood help you explore the heavy/crushing content in the game. Don't worry, there's some levity in there to keep you going.

A must buy for any serious RPG fan. Don't ♥♥♥♥ it up, Harry.
