Good game, love it a lot. It's unique compared to other zombie survival games. It has interesting game mechanics and gameplay, supportive devs, a good, wholesome community, a huge steam workshop of awesome mods. You can create your own character with their own traits to help or hinder you as you try to survive. If you're struggling to play, you can go into sandbox mode, and while creating your world you can change a ton of stuff to fit your playstyle. Definitely recommend, and cannot wait till the next major update.

Great game, few bones to pick. AI needs tweaking, as enemy bots are too good at shooting you or your team. Your AI you control are a bit scuffed in movement and seeing threats right around the corner. The game runs so bad on any graphics setting. Assigning loadouts to your individual squadmates is bugged; they either reset or use another loadout I have saved for a different squadmate.
I love this game, and it seems that the devs care and continue to develop this game so I recommend you try this out if you like SWAT tactical shooter type games.

After almost 3000 hours of this game, I still do not recommend this game. I believe the game will only get worse as it ages as time goes on. Presently, it's hot garbage. The community and those in games with you are usually pieces of crap, spewing the most profound absurdity. The players are one of the main reasons I do not want to play this game anymore. When you're grinding endlessly, getting frustrated during matches, you don't want salty, rude, toxic enemies or teammates on top of the situation. It ain't fun, and I've had plenty of it.

The next big issue is premium vehicles that dominate each battle rating in War Thunder. Gaijin loves their money and keeps dishing out premium vehicles because players keep buying $70 premium vehicles. It's not healthy for the game. You shouldn't need to pay that much for a vehicle alone to grind even one tech tree of a nation. That's not even considering premium account bonuses. This game is designed to sucker people in and buy expensive crap so you can mindlessly grind. Once you get to top tier, there's no reward. It's the same old game, same old battle rating as any other. There's also the issue of premium vehicles getting special treatment in order to be sold more for profit. Things like the VIDAR, or the 2S38 should not be at their battle ratings. Compared to the equal br tech tree vehicles, they outperform them noticeably. The 2S38 eats APFSDS because it isn't modeled correctly, probably because it's a nonexistent unused Russian vehicle. But it still faces old Abrams mbts that it can just destroy frontally with ease. If you play long enough you'll find some battle ratings have premium vehicles that make it unbearable to play in.

Another issue is the game itself. It's getting old, there's still plenty of issues present that are not addressed. From toxic players being able to team kill or spew nonsense, to a APFSDS round being absorbed by a driver's view port. There is round volumetrics but not armor volumetrics, which means rounds hitting armor at odd places/angles won't be realistic. So it's frustrating when your shot doesn't pen when you think it should. Another example is when APFSDS rounds are absorbed by the apparently god-tier level explosive reactive blocks the Russians slap on their ground vehicles. Idk how many times I should've had a kill but my round is eaten by one of those blocks on a TURMS-T or some other tank. Not fun.

Finally the grind. Without premium the grind is not worth it after 6.0. This applies especially to ground realistic battles. In the past, I had premium account, and two premium ground vehicles to grind the U.S. tech tree. The research still moved at a snail's pace. I still remember when Gaijin said they would increase ground battle rp earnings after they implemented Rank VIII tanks, but that has yet to happen.

I've had some fun here and there, on my own or with others while enjoying the semi-realistic gameplay this game offers that none other do. But it's not worth it to play the game in the end, as I've come to realize it's a waste of time, and the company behind War Thunder does not have the players' interests as a priority. Try it if you want to, but don't drop a dime on this "free to play" game.

Fix bots, ♥♥♥♥ the mosin scavs, add fishing and i give thumbs up

Uh at 1000 hrs, the game is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Toxicity, racism, sexism, and plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all the time makes this game unbearable to play. Unfortunately this game is a one of a kind so it's addicting. I've gotten better at raging and just being pissed 24/7 but this game is not healthy to those struggling. This game is literally a drug.

To add on, there are always glitches to be exploited, cheaters, and bugs that Ubi doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ to fix. Drone spotting bomb glitch is a classic to prove. As for cheaters, watch King George or reach Plat or higher to see for yourself. There's a game breaking glitch for the new MUTE Protocol event where attackers can be completely invisible and invulnerable. On the second day the event went live. Surprise surprise Clash hasn't been banned for two seasons due to an exploit so ig there's that. Ubi has LOADS of money to fix their servers, upgrade the anti-cheat, invest more time in fixing the game but they just don't gaf.

Don't buy this game. It's not work the time or effort. You lose braincells playing this broken game.
