as someone who started playing this game in 2022 because nothing else was fun, i cannot recommend this game anymore. the bots have made it completely made this game unplayable and community servers just dont hit right. i have played countless hours of casual with bot waves happening every update or everytime someone tries to do something for this game it ruins the fun. im not changing my review because i love this game im changing it cause im fed up. Valve fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Overall ive enjoyed this game for the short amount of time ive played it, if you don't mind the old 2008 graphics and aesthetic this game is alright. Also why is it called a MMO if it isn't massively multiplayer. the max amount of people in a lobby/room is eight, and why not have a freeplay mode where cars can challenge each other and meet there.
Pros:
-the starting cars actually have different specs and perform differently
-the soundtrack is a plus for me bringing back nostalgia from the old need for speed games
-car handling physics are alright but i do recommend turning force feedback way down if you have a wheel
-the auto-drift feature is nice for keyboard controls
-great game to play with friends
Cons:
-no one is every online and the few experiences ive had are with high level players that i see repetitively
-extremely grinding heavy, either make prices of cars lower or higher the points given to players after races
-the automatic counter steer is an awful experience for me, so i do recommend turning steering help off
-the only time i was actually close to the other cars was with my friends
-no single player mode/ai racers. there is a practice mode but you get no xp/in game money

I don't expect a massive update so the game is probably not gonna change. the only reason i found this game is through searching nascar and finding it there.
