Every game has its positives and negatives, Battlefield 2042 on the other hand has WAY more negatives then positives (I am actually unsure if it has any positives)

Cons
Equipment/specialists: Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. I cant fly ANYWHERE without being locked onto by basically the entire enemy team, while being locked onto by attack helis and jets. The equipment system IS BROKEN. If you are coming from BF4 with kickass piloting skills, dont bother you will be shot down instantly.

Maps/Team Base: Dice ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the maps so damn bad with this one, it is so much easier to spawn camp either on ground, or in the air because for 1). There is no base AA, you think youre protected from enemy jets and helis in spawn? ♥♥♥♥ no. 2). Each map has a clear viewpoint of the enemy base, you wanna roll out in a tank? ♥♥♥♥ you, take this anti-tank round.

Vehicles: With how big the maps are, the 128 player matches you would think they would put an emphasis on vehicle warfare. Nope. Want a tank for this huge open map? Heres two, but you cant actually have two if someones using a mobile AA! Weird cause siege of shanghai (BF4) had at most 4 or even with it being a small map. Want a heli? Well depends if someones using the gunships, so you can only have 2! And same for the non-crucial vehicles.


Weapons: One of the many things battlefield is known for is its wide variety of weapon choice, and customization options for the weapons. Battlefield 2042 is where that stops. Very little weapon variety, and very little customization options (I should specify, I am talking about attachments)

Dice: Once a great dev, now they are a ♥♥♥♥ hit the fan while the fans on fire dev, they refused to listen to the community about specialists, they refused to listen to the community about skins, they refused to listen to the community IN GENERAL.


not a con but I should add this. I was wrong in my judgment about specialists, I should not have been excited about that. this is primarily the core issue with this game. Specialist system impacted the weapon system, and it impacted the equipment system HEAVILY. My judgement was misplaced.

Pros:
Movement system: I feel like one thing they got right is the movement system, absolutely love the fact that you can slide towards your fallen teammates while having a little bit of cover. Love the tac run because it makes you feel operator AS ♥♥♥♥! (Plus can add huge cinematic value)(

Refund: I am getting my refund. thats def a pro.

Definitely do not recommend the game in its current state, and until the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs actually listen to the community.

like many others in the reviews have stated, the game is visually appealing,the concept is great, and im sure the game would be amazing if you didnt crash every time you tried loading into the game, apparently this bug has been going on for some time now, until they fix the error or bug i would advise you spend your money on a game that doesnt crash every time you load it up.

for some god awful reason i bought this game like a year ago and have been playing it ever since then. and honestly the game is fun. While others will say "how can you have fun when you have to farm ♥♥♥♥ constantly" well the answer is simple you just gotta have no life, have friends, or have a big group of people you enjoy playing games with. the game is obviously now a non-stop grind and a game thats also meant for groups of players, a lot of people will complain about the game being trash because of that one topic when in reality there are certain servers that basically allow you to go back to the way rust was at one point (in a way that is, dont quote me on that though) there are solo/duo only servers, and there are also servers that have no base decay on them. if you like grinding/risk-reward type of games rust is a good game for you, but be weary of the autistic screeching 12 year olds and there groups of 10.
