I don't think i'll be buying anymore of Take Two's (the parent company of Rockstar) games anymore, and I won't have my friends buy any of them as well. I will be discussing mostly GTA Online in this, flipping back to the base game of GTA V sometimes. The single-player story mode of GTA V is much better than the dumpster fire that GTA Online is today, but eventually if you have friends that play GTA Online on the PC you will be dragged into playing online. The actions they have made on GTA V itself as it has lived on for the past six years shows that they only care for micro-transactions, or Shark Card sales and sales on the base game of GTA V, not caring about the players that have already bought the game.
GTA Online is a grind-fest where the only quick way to make money is to either buy Shark Cards or to cheat it in through mods and hope you don't get banned by the blindfolded anti-cheat the game has that can ban random people. Keep in mind although you can still use mods in GTA V's story mode, all the cool vehicles and weapons that are in GTA Online can't be brought into single-player as Rockstar fears you will actually have fun with them for free on single-player rather than grinding for a week or buying it with a Shark Card in GTA Online. Rockstar, more generally Take Two as a company releases their games under the intention that when you buy the base game, you will buy Shark Cards as well to buy items that are inflated in price to fit the amount of money a Shark Card could give you. The Shark Cards are priced so that you can buy an item in a few clicks rather than having to grind away for a week with businesses or jobs in order to save up enough money to buy the item. There also exists a huge barrier of entry into legitimately making money in GTA Online, as all the businesses and ways to defend your product from being attacked by other players are very expensive. This is why GTA Online has almost always been one of Take Two's top performers in sales, it rewards players that buy Shark Cards to then buy the cool weapons and vehicles by giving them an instant dopamine release.
Businesses are not the only way to make money as well, there are certain jobs and heists you can do to make it but all of those won't pay enough than to just buy a Shark Card. You also need people to do certain jobs as well (higher base game sales!) even though a job may seem like you could do it yourself. There are many types of these missions in GTA Online, which might make you ask a friend to buy the game so that you can get past said mission instead of having to deal with some of the certified retarded randoms are that might purposefully screw up the mission. Did I mention certified ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? The GTA Online community is the most toxic community I have ever seen in a game. You can DDOS'ed for defending yourself in this game, there are constant Oppressor mk.2 griefers that use their pay to win overpowered flying bike to harass players trying to make money, there are K/D warriors, you name it and it's probably in this game.
As of the day I am writing this review, Rockstar has released a game launcher for GTA V even though Steam already exists as a game launcher for GTA V. Rockstar also released this game launcher with a """bug""" that prevents you from playing the base game of GTA V offline. I doubt this, as the flying pay to win overpowered bike that makes them the most Shark Card sales also has a ""bug"" where you can't auto-aim at it.
Do not buy this or have your friends buy it, don't even buy their stock (this is not investment advice, please don't take this as words from God) as it seems like a big exit scam when customers stop buying their products from the terrible milking of their wallets, or buy anything Take Two as a company has to offer. They only want your money and they want more of it when you buy in.

In the Early Access description:

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“At the current time the core development of the base DayZ game is projected to run between 2.5 to 3 years. (Putting the departure from Early Access at approximately mid 2016) ”

At the time of this review it's mid 2016 and still no sign of it getting out of Early Access after years of development.

EDIT 05/04/18: It has been two years since I've made this review, and again the release date for the game has been raised. Really shows how the development has progressed.

This game is one of my favorites. Almost everything you can destroy. Complete strongholds, villages, cities, airports, and military bases. Steal a boat and grapple a grunt to it. Hilarity ensues.
10/10 (Just Cause 3 is coming out Decemeber 2015!)

I've played since Alpha 10 and I love this game. There is an endless amount of prison designs you can have on each prison. The devs are great, and everything about this game is perfect. There's not that many bugs (still expect bugs) after the Alpha 22 & Alpha 26 bug-bash's. However, there is no soundtrack. Thats probably the only bad thing I got.

Game is great and awesome. Being able to build ships and stations is awesome. With also the devs making awesome updates too. There are a couple bugs that need to be fixed though. Anyways the game is great get it now if you like sandboxes.

Just got the game a couple of days ago. I love it. Most detailed simulator iv'e seen yet.

Best game iv'e played since 2011. Vehcile physics are ok but your gunna be buildin and eventing more than driving or flying. I have been hosting on this game for 2 years now. And with my really good admins it just spices up the fun of building and creating stuff. Be seeing you on my server!
