I can't recommend the game enough. It's got that chill vibe music, but there are moments of frantic action. There is a story that is legit and worth exploring. I truly enjoyed the game and it was bittersweet when I hit that end cinematic. Get the game.. and see you around Space Cowboy.

A beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking, and timely game. The overall feel of this game is amazing, the music is spot on, the sounds are perfect. On top of that, the story delivers a real punch to the gut. My only quibble is I would have preferred a fully first person view, but I understand the reasoning behind why they did what they did. Overall, play this game!

Play for a bit.. crash. Finish a difficult section.. crash. Terrible checkpoints. Impossible "don't get seen" missions. Boring story. Yup, this game has it all and it is worth about 25-cents to me.

It is not without its bugs, but overall I much prefer TSW2 over Train Sim. I've had Train Simulator since 2014 and I've always found it a bit off putting in the rigidity of the timetables and the UI. Train Sim World 2 has corrected the UI mess and made train simulation much more approachable and relaxing.

If you are a stickler for exactness, this isn't your game. This is a game for people that love trains and want an approachable game that lets them experience a simulation of many routes around parts of the world. This game could really do with some Japanese and Italian routes, but that should come in time.

Another one of those "Yes, but" recommendations.

This is a great game to play with friends! The insanity and giggling is off the charts. The physics isn't perfect, but it is certainly fine for what this is. This isn't a hardcore racer, this is a smash'em up just like what Forza 7 online is - only in this game it is by design.

What this game is not great at is single player. The AI, even at expert, is pretty bad and the single player seasons are quite easily completed. The random multiplayer can be fun, but is full of the usual kind of people that just like wrecking everyone else. At least to a degree this is expected here.

I do wish setting up your own server was easier, but if you have friends that like driving or crashing into each other, this is the game for you! Do yourself a favor and buy the season passes! The cars they add are worth it!

It's fine. It doesn't have the grit and strong storytelling of Fallout: New Vegas and the "save your son" trope is a rehash of the "save your dad" trope of Fallout 3, but it is a capable game. That Bethesda felt they needed to redo all the default key commands so the controls are nearly completely different than New Vegas is just annoying. The looting and hacking is also a step down from NV and Fallout 3. And of course, a healthy dose of Bethesda bugs and jankyness. Thankfully, nothing that can't be fixed with a dose of modding.

Worth a look when it is on sale.

The story is garbage and disjointed and the controls are so horrid that David Cage should be forced to play his terrible games on repeat for the rest of his life. I've played a lot of bad games, but I finish them. This one I quit on. I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate this game.

Early Access Review
While not a hyper-realistic simulator that some "pocket protector wearers" need to satisfy their desire to pretend they are engineers, this is an approachable game for anyone that enjoys trains. The developers are constantly updating and patching the game. Their list of upcoming development items is long, but that doesn't mean the game is flawed now. Instead, it is a very playable game. You might blow up an oil depot or derail your train into a canyon, but that's all part of the fun!

For people that played the old SimTower game, this game will be instantly familiar. Just like SimTower, once you reach a certain inflection point the tower runs itself, but you will constantly be tweaking things here and there while you strive for 100 floors. The only thing I am not a fan of is the "zombie apocalypse" events. That kind of feels forced, but beyond that this is a stellar game for those who love building simulators or who played SimTower and loved it.

A game about replaying the same 12-hours of a Saturday, over and over and over. Each time trying to stop another death. The music is amazing and the premise of the game is certainly interesting. If you don't aim to 100% the game you can probably finish in about 4 hours, but it is an enjoyable time. There was only one point where I got a bit stuck, but after so many actions the game stepped in to help point me in the right direction. Worth a look for your game library.
