Early Access Review
I measure the value of a game based on the Cost/Playtime. This game has far exceeded my expectations. There are numerous ways to play and it never really gets old. You get tired of playing a hiding prop, skittering around just out of view? Change it up and go hyper aggressive! Are you having trouble finding or fighting the ghosts? Try changing up your hunter load out. Overall, this game is a great time with friends, especially if you want to experiment with crazy strategies. Overall it is a good game that has cost me less than $1 an hour to enjoy.

After my first win, I fell like a review is in order.

Noita is an incredibly difficult game that will you will never fully master. My first win came after 62 hours and 83 deaths. My winning run was just over 3 hours long with quite a few close calls.

To win, you must experiment. And that usually means death. However, once you push past this, and gain meta knowledge of the game, things clear up rather quickly. To be proficient at Noita, you will need to watch some guides or you will spend 20 hours playing and never really build a good wand. Truth be told, I would say that this is the equivalent of a 2d, rogue like dark souls.

However, if you enjoy punishment, you will keep coming back for more. This is because beating the game is the easiest task that Noita offers. There are a myriad of side bosses, quests, and interactions. Actually beating the final boss only constitutes about 25% of the game. This game is immense and will leave you wanting more every time! Well, except when you go on a losing streak and vow to never play the game again.....

Even after all this time, the devs still work hard on this game. Tons of fun with friends, or solo as the killer. A must have.

I love this game. The game play is unique and each match is different. The only downside is that there are only around 2000-2500 US players on at 9-10 EST. The majority of the player base comes from China. Checked by Steam Charts

I absolute love this game. It is, in essence, a 3D platformer with an incredibly deep story. It takes multiple play throughs and finding all secrects to understand the underlying story. The movement is great and the difficulty varies based on the current situations in the game.

Disclosure, I recieved this product during the 100 hour free license period.

Somehow Landfall has created probably the best battle royal game to date. It is a weird mixture of tactics, gun play, insanity, and laughs. Not going to lie, if I have a few people to play with, I will easily put more time into this game than PUBG. At its core, this game isn't about winning, it is about the hilarity that ensues. Not great for a hardcore, competetive, realistic loving, gamer. It is probably best suited for those late nights when everyone wants to play a game, but nothing too hardcore.

TLDR: I feel bad that I recieved this game for free. I would donate the $5 just to support Landfall and the games they create.

Okay, so its time that the negative reviews stop being the "helpful" reviews. Most of the negative reviews are people complaining that they don't feel like they got their $60 worth or something. Those people should have watched some gameplay footage before they freaking pre-ordered/bough the game. Its as simple as that. Of course its a large game of hide and seek mostly, there there are other game modes. One of my favories is Nest. Again, watch some gameplay before purchasing. If you like what you see, get it, if not, DON"T BUY EVOLVE.

Now for the DLC problem that everyone brings up. The DLC does not alter the game significantly. I repeat, the DLC DOES NOT alter the game significantly. The DLC is only skins. Monster skins and wepon skins. The monster skins are basically for the intro screen as they generally do not show up well unless the monster has full armor. The wepon skins do absolutely nothing but change the grungy look of your wepons.

Another thing. Evolve is a game that is meant to be played for a few minutes to a few hours. It is not a marathon game. That accounts for the initial number of players being like 30-40k and now only 2-8k a day. Most people do not play every day. It is still incredably easy to get into a skirmish or a campaign.

For me, this game is incredably fun. I play it every few days or so. I even have a group where we play together every few days.

So, in conclusion, WATCH SOME GAMEPLAY BEFORE BUYING. It is that simple. Have fun.
