Xengre has a weird vendetta against me. He often invents stuff like me insulting people or being banned to justify their bullying despite my post history being devoid of any agression and never getting so much as a warning in the two decades or so on the Steam forums. Valve's support bans them on occasion but he always come back. Frustrated Denuvo employee or undiagnosed bipolar, I don't know why he does that, I suggest to just ignore or report him.

That's correct. They kept the latest (Denuvo-free) version as a separate branch, accessible via the Betas tab. Now the remaining question is... if they're going to fix the filthy EOS implementation, which broke the games... or ... if they drop it and use Steamworks again. If you ask me, crossplay isn't a must-have for EVERY game out there. Besides, on Steam, people can use the forums to search for potential mp / coop partners and those aforementioned games can be very cheap during sale events.
