Greatest game of all time on every level and the reason, in no particular order is as follows:
  • The Graphics - turn EVERYTHING up to the maximum possible, TURN OFF TAA and ALL AA settings, enjoy the crisp.

  • The Story - I restarted missions even if i missed 20 seconds of dialog... YES its that serious and immersive and I wasn't going to miss a THING! It was all worth paying attention to.

  • The Random Encounters in the open world - EVERY. LAST. NPC. MUST. BE. HEARD!!!!!!! None of the side quests or random encounters felt unoriginal OR reused. Not to mention a plethora of easter eggs that were extremely entertaining.

  • Rockstar is VERY unapologetic in their games and story telling and that's why they are the ABSOLUTE BEST team for the job where the main focus is to be an outlaw, GTA is a marvel, RDR is a masterpiece

  • The Voice Acting and Motion capture - Arthur Morgan is the best damn protagonist I've ever seen in a video game, I've never felt such a connection to any other character in my life. In a crazy new world where so many men don't act like real men anymore, I feel that this man Arthur was in some unsung ways, such a good role model for the alpha male types, and it was so convincing and grounded all at the same time--thanks to the facial expressions, and Roger Clark's voice and the effortless attitude he performed, not to mention everyone else in the gang

  • The Gameplay Challenges - This game does challenges exactly the right way IMO, nothing felt boring to do when you're ready to tackle a particular set of them, and nothing was impossible but at the same time didn't drag on more than the other if you wait until you're willing to go after any particular type. And NO, the gambler challenges are not as hard as they say in forums, I unlocked all achievements for 100% everything, and must say, if you are too impatient to complete these, wait to come back when you're good and ready to watch a tutorial or read into it online if needed, no need to get mad at one microscopic aspect in a game when there's SO MUCH more to discover in RDR2. Pace yourselves and enjoy.

  • The Combat - I cant say that the guns ALL felt different but they ALL HIT HARD once you get the hang of them. The gunplay mechanics themselves were great, not perfect, but polished enough to keep you feeling like a force, with or without the use of deadeye, but lets be real, slow motion and alt camera angles are just so damn satisfying.

  • The Open World - I must say, every location felt like satellite scans of real world places, none of it felt unnatural or like it was made for gaming accessibility. Get lost in it.

  • The Wildlife - I'll just leave this here: Most games that have this many different animals all in one place all over the place tend to have immersion breaking glitches and bugs when they roam the different terrains, but not my boy RDR2, no sir. And the hunting elements are better than just about any hunting game, so yeah... go Rockstar! Fishing is fun enough too.

  • The Online Thang - I wish they would save it, but AT LEAST it doesn't have Immersion breaking cosmetics or any pay to win, and with the introduction of Madam Nazar, Moonshine and the Trader roles ect, money shouldn't be an issue like it is in GTA5 online, if you're willing to follow a map to find valuables for cash, or put in the time to upgrade other roles, you'll have the style and firepower to look how you want and fight back when you need. I'll say, it's better played with 2 or more others in a persistent posse at the minimum, but solo is also viable, just takes longer to get things done and people tend to be more offensive with you. Form a posse and be toxic, its what makes the wild west WILD online! :)

DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN ITTTTTTT!!! I love this game.

    RDR3 WISHLIST:

  • Emphasis on guns and parts unlockables and more of a grind with weapon familiarity with noticeable changes to the gunplay
  • A Small Skill Tree
  • Closer camera to the shoulder when aiming for more dramatization
  • Stagecoach customization and storage
  • Better and simplified UI and PC controls
  • Advanced camping and camp upgrades
  • The ability to buy plots of land and craft homesteads
  • More gang commands to ride with you, ect
  • Ability to choose a spouse, have a family, ect, raise a child who grows idk...
  • Dueling....
  • Fight clubs and advanced hand to hand and environmental
  • Gun tricks offline
  • RPG elements in online plus almost everything above

I could really go on but I wont, because if this was the last RDR we got, im already satisfied, it will STILL remain the best game in the foreseeable future and possibly of all time, because it truly already is. And if you are reading this and are on the fence, I urge you to play in a quiet place, without discord, uninterrupted, knowing what i know now, the game is worth more than the $60 it advertised. Go NOW!

Open world Tetris would’ve been less repetitive than this. The funnest thing about this game is the sound effect for discovering a site of grace lol I put 160 hours in, beat it as frenzy, then started a new play through after getting everything I wanted, but the 2nd run made me realize that i was about to do 100+ more hours of the same ♥♥♥♥ I’ve already done, over and over with little to no storyline draw. My hype glasses came off and you all still haven’t removed yours. Albeit the game has EXCELLENT character art style, but also feels like a game that FS just threw together quickly with zero direction in storyboarding, compiled from every unused concept art and asset they had cut from years of previous developments’ deleted scenes. And call it cynical, but the lack of gore, irritates me beyond belief for a game with such discomposure and dread lol

Most of you didn’t play The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid and other ACTUAL technical/gameplay masterpieces over the years, and it’s showing and revealing to me.

This game is a testament, at best, to how long people have anticipated for a good RPG, and would have worshipped and crowned king, any game that was similar, but it’s no where near one of the greats. It’s a one and done if you can make it through. It’s no masterpiece but it’s no flop either, just leaves plenty to be desired. 7/10 max for me.

I don't see how anyone couldn't like this game, unless you're an entitled 17 yr old who has unrealistic expectations for games that aren't in the "trendy" circle. This game kicks ass 10/10. It's like socom and GTA had a baby with farcry and Advanced warfighter. The gunplay is super tight and the co-op? It's done right 100% the tools you have to use make it easier to communicate with friends in co-op easier than most. It is one of the better co-op shooters in a while. Whatever progress you've made in coop transitions SEAMLESSLY back into solo, such as, mission progress, xp, supplies, all of it. As far as graphics go, i think its on par with The Witcher 3, although a bit more taxing on cards as I have a 1080ti, I'm getting 40-60fps with all ultra in 4k and vsync on. It still is buttery smooth imo. This game is also very in-depth with its customization of the characters, me and my friends spent about an hour each on our characters and lots weapons to choose from, the game has about as many weapons as bf4 and all feel a little different, but you wont be shooting people more than about 1-3 times on avg, the gunplay feels very real and its amazing! As far as the repetition of missions go, you must understand what this game is and that it is a military shooter, there's only a handful of ways missions can go without the game being linear, there's no absolute way of approaching a mission, it's open world and you can choose how you complete you tasks, if you think the game is repetitive it's probably YOU who is repetitive in playing the same way and ignoring ALL the possibility to take advantage of, sometimes we drone tag, and snipe from 300m+ sometimes we sneak in close with silent pistols, and loud ARs, or maybe I fly in close and my boy jumps out on one side of the objective and I land on the other side and we meet in the middle! I personally have a blast scoping out cartels, taking them out from a hilltop or moving in balls out with my boys! There's so much left on the table if you pass this one off, but its worth every bit of $60 And the PvP is coming soon too! See you in Bolivia boys!

WELL optimized and VERY graphic. Love it. Just judging by the 1st 15 minutes, I agree 10/10. But, Kojima... ♥♥♥♥ Ko-numbnuts, you are this industry's bread & butter homie. Or aloe and rice lol.
