Why go and ruin your game at the end?

The last mission has clumsy minigames, the santa one is just clumsy and the one in which you fall and avoid stuff is near impossible to see where the objects are coming from and avoid, pure RNG. Put a real sour note on the whole game which otherwise would get a meh (with a recommendation) rating because while its clear the dev worked hard on it i find it hard to justify the full price for about 4-5 hours play.

It's not perfect, like the AI knowing exactly where you are and the travelling can get tedious but the gun play, story, overall tone and mechanics are fun.

The way the soldier's attitude changes towards you, the way your malaria is a metaphor for the country and overall state of things and the more of a cold monster you become makes this game standout.

I'm only 10 hours in at time of writing but it feels like double, if you like that adrenaline like feeling of scraping death you will love this game.

You have to be very aggressive, the pace just makes it that more intense.

It is very hard but this is quickly coming my favourite Fromsoft game.

I want to like the game but it keeps crashing.

I accidentally clicked 'New game' instead of 'Continue' while trying to press 'ESC' and it got rid of my game, nice saving.

Real smart thing to design, just delete my entire game when i click a new one with no warning.

Meh, cheap deaths.
You'll die most likely not from enemies but from hitting a bomb by accident or 'charging' it for longer then the split second it requires you to, i don't mind environmental deaths like falling or spikes but these other deaths feel cheap.

I was ready to dislike the game, mainly for the combat, but after playing it myself I dont see it as a problem, I enjoy it. I dont think the combat is even that janky, it's just if the game doesn't want you to defeat an enemy yet you won't. I think most people get frustrated because they don't want to run away as much as you have to in the beginning especially.

If you like fallout 4/Skyrim and you don't mind avoiding enemies, and enjoy being incredibly weak and getting stronger slowly you should enjoy this game.

The world is interesting also, which I think is what will make you love or hate the game, don't find people or places interesting and you won't want to spend time it takes to be able to get to the point where you can kill things.

Some might say the beginning is boring, which i strongly disagree with because this is where you learn what everything and everyone is about, you find out how the game works and how the factions think.

Good game

It's good but the AI can act off especially on bigger maps, they just wont obey commands (rally flags), they'll rebel mid combat or even when they are right next to what they want, i'll have plenty of space but minions spawn really slow etc.
And its small but i wish there was a 'needs' panel, hovering the mouse over a minion can be fiddly.

The game is good, i just hope they reduce the filler to at least origins standard because this games padding is way to obvious.
