Incredibly in depth for a clicker based game

Imagine Destiny 2 but actually a good game. All jokes aside, Borderlands 2 will always be one of my favorite games I have ever played. Borderlands 2 combines FPS with RPG elements to create a gaming experience like no other. I spent days where I was locked in my room just playing out the campaign. The guns and the RPG elements are fun, but what makes this game stand out are its NPCs. NPCs such as Tiny Tina, Claptrap, and even Handsome Jack are some of the funniest characters of any game. If you enjoy FPS, RPG, and comedy, buy this game immediately and start playing it.

Slay the Spire is incredibly polished for an early-access game. The game is a single player card game where you play against AI. You build a deck by defeating enemies, buying them from the shop, or by going to mystery rooms. Personally, I found the game to be incredibly fun for the first 20 or so hours. After I "Slayed the Spire" on all three characters, the only thing left to really do was ascension challenges. Ascension basically just makes the game harder whether it be enemies doing more damage, enemies have more health, or more elites spawn, the game will get harder every time you go up in ascension. If you like having to think of your turns in advance, memorize enemy attack patterns, deck building, and don't mind the repitition, this game is right for you.

This game has passed the test of time on many occasions. However, with the release of new more exciting games and Valve's overall lack of care for this diamond in the rough, this game has witnessed a large decline in the amount of people playing. I recommend this game, however this game seems to be a bit outdated and sees a severe lack of players compared to what it once had.
