Absolutely awful. I have no idea when to even start with this.

1) The plot is just straight up garbage, with ignoring and twisting the key points and ideas of the original, while adding new and improved fanfiction-tier story they cooked up in free time. The ending is an insult to the face of every player of the original as well. The main antagonist is a marvel-tier villain with stupid dialogues to complete the picture. They also destroyed the Warnsworn lore, while simultaneously made them completely useless and pointless, despite the theme of the DLC being integral to them.

2) Terrible quest design. We have specific quests that can only be completed at night, one quest that needs you to wait until a very specific date, then waste another 2 hours, waiting for the monster to become doable, quests with silly triggers, like waiting for 24-96 hours, hidden quests, that only start after the previous one was completed without resuming the faction line, quests, that require you to run back and forth between places several times...

3) While level art is one of the few things I can praise this DLC for, the design is horrendous. The map was built enormously large, but empty. So you will traverse the gigantic landscape for hours, simply wasting your time. Even more so, they introduced a bunch of twists and turns with passages, which may look interesting at the first glance, but in the end it's just tiring and annoying trying to find your way in this maze. Most of the houses are just empty husks with nothing interesting in them. Did you forget how environmental design works or something?

4) Game design is an abomination. They introduced a new mechanic with chaos shields, which feels and plays like a chore. The chaos portals is one of the worst things I've seen in my entire life, and these developers made sure that we would hate them even more. Want to run through the portal quikly? Lol, no, have some doors, which requre levers, which are super annoying to find in this labyrinth. Also, have some enemies as well, HUNDREDS of them, all complete with chaos armour gimmick. Literally MMO, massive content artifical stretching.
