It's a sandbox with lots of buggy content, yet nothing can deliver a similar experience. Once you find the right group of people to play with and grind for the right cause, the game transforms into a whole other experience with diplomacy, secrets and political schemes. Or you can just find an isolated system far from home and explore.

If I had two choices: Give to Trump campaign or Buy Day Z. I would rather burn the money and use the ashes in a drink to calm my stomach of the vitriol cause by both entities.

Get it on sale. Well worth it. about 80+ hours of great gameplay and I plan on coming back now and again to try and tackle impossible hardcore! This game is brutal and will make you want to throw your keyboard in rage sometimes, but that's what makes it a good remake. Stay away from the useless dlc's though.

Multi-player is less buggy and the whole game feels complete with the release of GNK. Too bad devs are greedy bastards. However, if you love 4x and like the idea of civ muiltiplayer without the stack of death roaming around, this is your game! Purchasing GNK will greatly enhance it.
