This is the best CRPG narrative-based game available at the moment. If you are going to spend $60, this is is certainly one that is worth the money.

I got this game because I have really liked rogue-lite games in the past. This game is definitely one to check out if you are into the genre. Weapon variety is awesome - different feel for each of the guns, and the top-down shooter with headshot mechanics is very fun. The reload system may feel off-putting at first, but it really isn't difficult once you get the hang of it, and it adds a nice challenge to the game to keep you on your toes.

The game has great replayability as you will find you want to jump right back into another run after you've died. The number of different weapons you can find makes it a new game every time.

The devs have already released several significant updates in the three or so weeks the game has been out, adding in new content (new artifacts, cores, guns, etc), and staying on top of bug fixes and balances. I suppose my only gripe with this game is that I got it for myself and my brother to play coop over the same wifi, and there are issues connecting that we can't seem to figure out. Hopefully this is ironed out in the future. The roadmap seems to indicate it will be.

If you are a fan of rogue-lite games and want a fun shooter challenge, I would certainly reccomend this game to you! Supporting the devs will go toward making this game even better as well, so if you are considering this game, buy it! It's not very expensive as far as games go anyways.

Better than EA BF2.
