that may be a tad bold of me to say, but this game is fantastic. Buy it.

Fantastic Campaign, though it is quite short. If youre looking for a campaign worth playing i highly recommend TitanFall 2, havent played multiplayer but the campaign alone is worth it. Just don't buy full price, oh and also f*** EA.

So much fun. Base game is really good, not too much depth but as of the time im writing this (U9.3 4/10/21) it's still in early access and will be for a while presumably. However, the combat is much, much better than any other fighting focused VR game ive played or seen. There are also plenty of mods you can download very easily online, i have around 25-30 mods currently ranging from star wars overhauls with sabers and blasters and maps and enemies and spells, to a simple mod adding 1 weapon or map, etc etc. 9/10 would absolutely recommend, and if not, keep your eye on it for the future.

like the game a lot, but the constant crashes alone outweigh almost every positive this game has. on a normal 'play-through' i typically encounter around 5-10 crashes per 3-4 hour session per day. its rarer that i get a session with no crashes at all than it is for me to achieve 10 in one.

Fantastic game, really brought me back into the franchise and will be purchasing Darksiders 3 after i finish the first.

Pros

- Size. The game is bigger than youd think, yet never drags on.

- Weapons. A lot of great weapons to use, varied playstyles, combos etc.

- Items/powers. Aside from the ridiculously weak revolver, items are great, with time travel, portals,you can summon ghosts to help you fight or progress through dungeons. All great stuff.

- Dungeons. The dungeons are fantastic. Though I did have to leave and revisit some due to a hidden wall i can run up which i didnt see prior. The dungeons are varied enough and introduce some great mechanics which follow a style that introduces a mechanic, lets you play around with it as most have 2 uses, then gives you a challenge, then another with a twist.

- Voice acting. The voice acting is great and I love Death's (Michael Wincott) character.

-NG+. Speaks for itself.

Cons

- Travelling. It's a bit tedious and breaks the immersion when I have to travel thru portals and walk a little while to sell some collectables. The horse is fine, but the dash is too slow.

- Crucible. The crucible is super overwhelming. To the "crowds" cheering when there isnt anyone there. The repetitive voice lines of the champion when you finish 5 rounds every time. The way it doesnt tell you what the rewards are, in exchange for a mostly randomised chest you get which gets bigger every 5 rounds, which makes it slightly underwhelming when youve already get better weapons than anything the rewards will offer due to possessed weapons.

- Weapons (again). Its sometimes a little hard to know which weapon you should use when the damage counters are so varied. from 89 dmg on a fast weapon supposedly outdamaging a 400 damage slower weapon, but the fast one having only 1 attack style. Proper DPS counters are needed. Boss weapons, aside from 1, are extremely underwhelming and the "abilities" are not really described too well. Some sound amazing, but with no way to level them, underwhelming damage if you had grinded for levels beforehand. The ability could sound amazing, like doing extra damage after freezing an enemy, yet without a dps counter or real numbers there, why should i use that when they nerf the damage it does when i have a 600 damage hammer that heals me and does twice as much crit damage, at twice the chance, at my disposal.

Bosses - The bosses very often feel too easy. With standard attack patterns and weaknesses. The only boss i struggled with was samael and the guardian. However both of these are good fights.

The cons do seem a bit daunting, however none of them really take away from the game and are mostly down to preference and playstyle.

Darksiders 2 - 8/10

One of my favourite games ever. Cant help giving it a thumbs up but the bot problems are rampant and i wouldnt recommend this to anyone looking to start playing tf2. Though if you do end up playing anyway, its one of the best team shooters available for new players to the genre, very accessible, etc etc. but racism, sexism, homophobia is also very common in this game.

I am currently enjoying the game as I loved all the souls games and I have been excited to get the remastered and have a ton of hours in all 3 pc souls games yet so im no stranger to the series yet the invading system has been by far the worst in this one, Ive only been playing the remastered for a few days and Ive been playing with a friend and each time we play, a few invaders come along with tons of health, late game equipment and pyromancies etc, now this wouldnt be as much of a problem if it didnt lag a lot, i get back stabbed from 10 feet away and i get hit from far distances by nothing, and its not my wifi because i play many online games with no difficulties.. Just let us play online without having to worry about (and die repeatedly to) invaders looking for an ez win. I would not recommend playing the remastered (if the online community is more active as im guessing) if youre looking to coop.
