On the surface, Tunic is a metroidvania with an isometric artstyle reminiscent of Zelda games, that features some mechanical and thematic inspiration taken from Dark Souls, most prominently in the combat and story.
Below the surface however, it's the spiritual successor to Fez, with layers upon layers of secrets within secrets, and an as-of-writing ongoing ARG.
The game is incredibly well-polished, and the exploration and secret-hunting will appeal to anyone who enjoyed Outer Wilds - as long as you can surmount the also-fun-but-challenging combat.

Extremely innovative gameplay mechanics, paired with a fantastic-looking and unique visual style. While the progression system isn't anything more than your typical lock-and-key style metroidvania, the gameplay is totally unlike any other game.

Developers that actually care about and listen to their playerbase, constant updates and a huge wealth of content, and a F2P system that doesn't suck. Warframe hits the nail on the head in every possible respect.
