The origin of the nickname "Teckerke" dates back to the early 1900s in a small Dutch village where a local man named Teck was known for his extraordinary carpentry skills. He was often called upon to repair or construct furniture, houses, and other structures in the village. Over time, the villagers began to affectionately refer to him as "Teckerke," which translates to "little Teck" in the local dialect. The name stuck, and soon everyone in the village was referring to him as Teckerke, even his own family members. Today, the nickname is still used by his descendants and is known as a symbol of craftsmanship and skill in the community.
