Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is an absolutely fantastic game. It offers a deep and unique experience with a great mix of strategy, role-playing, and action. The wide variety of units and the freedom to create your own story make every playthrough feel different and exciting.

The gameplay is smooth and engaging battles are intense, tactical, and truly satisfying. From commanding massive armies to engaging in personal duels, everything feels impactful and rewarding.

One of the best parts is the amazing mod support. The game runs perfectly with mods both on Steam and through community websites. Projects like Realms of Thrones or Empire 1700 show how much creativity the community brings to the game, and it’s great that Bannerlord supports it so well.

If you’re into medieval strategy, immersive battles, and endless customization, Bannerlord is a must-play. It’s one of those rare games that keeps getting better over time.

Dawn of Man a strategic city building game where your commanding a settlement trough the prehistoric ages from the paleolithic age towards the iron age, where you face the struggles of surviving hard winters, gathering food by hunting, fishing and farming, while you need to keep an eye open to prepare a defense against nearby tribes that will try to raid you during your journey through the ages.

In my opinion a great looking game, with good visual details like smoke coming out of workplaces and houses in wintertime, wind moving the trees and animal and human movement. The change of weather during the seasons with rain, storm and snow that give this game a good looking view. While this game has decent looking shadows, there is no time rotation of day and night and the sun will always be shining from the same place. For the command part of the game it doesn’t look that great but for me personal it is good enough for a mainly focused game on building a city where the combat is just a little part of it.

Dawn of man has the perfect soundtrack that is possible for the game, throughout the menu and in game you can enjoy the old age drums that makes it relaxing to play, further in the game you have the sound of nature that in my opinion sound fine. Each animal has his own sound of attacking or dying etc. humans talk in a old language that I don’t know where there only 2 different voices that is male and female, for the rest the building sounds and when a certain product or something is build in a building it has the fitting sounds that are good enough.

You can start of the game with a clear and good tutorial that explains you the game very well before you dive in to the hard ancient time world. The game gives you enough options to create a settlement on the looks how you like to be able to place building where ever you want, as long it has a flat enough terrain to build on, with a simple rotate option and a placement border it easy place buildings as you can see a sample of how it will look before you place it, your citizens while proved the goods to the work area to be able to build the structure.

The game has a clear and simple menu where you can choose what you want to see in your main screen as you can see in the screenshot I linked in the graphics section, this is where you can see your resources, citizens, workload, animals etc. whenever something specials happens in the game like a raider attack or one of your citizens died you will get a simple pop up in your left bottom corner showing the information you need, also that pop up is clickable when will bring you to the place of happening.
After this part of explaining you how the game goes in ways of building and managing, your purpose in this game is guide your settlement trough the old age of time while providing for a food supply to survive the winter doing it by hunting animals, farming vegetables or wheat to make bread and get a storage of wood to keep your citizens warm in cold times, while your trying to survive your going trough a tech tree where you can unlock new ways to make certain equipment like a bone knife that will end up in a steel forged knife and being able to make other types of buildings, like instead of a tent a house made with mud and thatch to provide more shelter for your citizens and keep the warmth inside the house.

After all I think the game is certainly worth buying, giving you enough hours of fun playing the first scenario, going trough all the ages and ending up with a fully advanced settlement in the iron age. After you feel completed in your settlement you can play the northlands or ancient warriors for a more challenging gameplay, what makes it harder to survive and evolve in ages. And you also have challenges you can do that give you a different look at the game like the first challenge where you play as a herd of mammoths.
