It's a joy to see a game that was once hidden, be loved and given the attention by the market it deserves. Easy recommendation.

It actually pains me that more people don't know about this master piece. The glory, the chaos, the destruction, the death all combine to make a master piece called war of rights. Nothing feels more epic than charging out a rebel position or mowing down a blue belly charge. With battles up to 300 players in size, and beautiful maps, lighting and smoke effects you are really transported back into 1862. This game recreates feelings of pure joy when routing an enemy or pure shock and fear when your own lines are shattered by musketfire. If you want to feel epicness of the civil war this game is for you!

Such a fun game, I can't believe I've sunk as many hours as I have!

Don't get it yet! I can't lie to you and say It's not a fun and enjoyable game it is! It's just right now they have a whole mess of balancing and optimization issues. The Vassal System is somehow worse then Warband right now, due to the fact that you might spend 3/4s of your force taking a city only to not even be considered for it when they are choosing and owner. The economy is super screwed up due to the fact it's easy as hell to get cash, troops get piss poor XP in battles and it takes quite a while longer then it should to max out a guy. Just wait come back in like a month and a half, then you can send it. Until then let them workout some of these major kinks.

It isn't perfect but it's intense, thrilling, and beautiful. Weapons still need some work along with the tanks and other vehicles, but I give it one year before it's fully polished up like post scriptum is.

This might as well be a mobile game, after playing 2 games of this game I can say it nothing close to successor to a classic like COD 2. Games are filled with BOTs, the graphics look make the game look like it came out on apple store. If it did come out on the apple store I could recommend it for 5 bucks not 20 or 10.

PS is great and I can't recommend it enough.
I like it more then HLS because it's very polished when it comes to movement, combat, and vehicle controls (Looking at you HLS tanks).
When it comes to coordination it's hit or miss, you might land in a squad with a very responsive and directive Squad Leader or it might be some random guy who ended up becoming SL when a dude created the squad and ran away.
The devs need to figure out a way to give more incentive to lead your squad and lead it well, because atm most people don't like squad leading or are very reluctant to do it.
The combat is much more intense in this game then other counter parts like squad because of how close the engagements are. Engagements are typically in the 200m to 400m range and since the game doesn't hand out SMGs to everyone most of the time they feel hectic and chaotic.
The sound in the game is incredible! Sound in FPS make or break the combat and the sound in PS will not disappoint you. In combat when clearing a house I can Identify friend from foe due to the sound of the weapon system they are operating.
The game is always improving, they are tweaking and adding content.
I can easily recommend this at full price & if you get on sale you are getting a steal.
