Amazing game with plenty of game modes, a great community and developers who have consistently updated the game over the last 10 years. It's no surprise Rust has a huge Twitch following and is still one of the top ranked games on Steam. Thank you Facepunch Studios, keep up the good work!

I picked this up expecting another 'run of the mill' survival type game. This game surprised me! The developers have set the story in the Australian outback and its a fantastic experience with a lovely art style. The music is pleasant and works nicely with the game, there are plenty of skills to level up and lots of character customisation on offer. It's like a PC Animal Crossing on steroids. Highly recommended, particularly if you play multiplayer.

Making ghost noises and causing your team mate to run into the room where the ghost actually is and die, 11/10 would do it again.

This was one of the first games I ever played on PC and to relive that nostalgia has been nothing short of spectacular. Here is my review of C&C Remastered.

When I first became aware of C&C Remastered back in March I became excited but concerned given EA's history of micro-transactions and poor launch record (I had some nightmares that EA might incorporate the Spec Ops and N64 missions behind paid DLC). Regardless, I had faith in Jim Vessella, Petroglyph and Lemon Sky Studios to pull off everything that had been proposed from their preview videos. The package the team advertised was promising and I really felt a sense of respect and love to the C&C community with many requests being listened to on the forums. I pre-ordered the standard edition and like many other players waited anxiously until 5th June.

When the date arrived at 18:00 hours GMT, the release was smooth and I loaded the game up within 20 minutes after Steam unpacked the files. WOW! From the initial cut scenes to the sound effects, I fell in love with how everything had been re-imagined in a way only C&C players of old could appreciate. Nothing appears ruined or out of place and the originality is there; the special effects and don't even get me started on the music!

I began the GDI campaign and was simply blown away by the updated video scenes, remastered music and improved graphics which seamlessly switched from the old 95' graphics to the modern equivalent with a tap of the space bar. Genius. No delay, no lag and flawless performance. The game comes with an in-built Jukebox which allows you to customise what tracks you want to listen to (and this includes mixing and matching from C&C and RA1). The unit animations and improved sounds are fantastic and I really felt as though I was re-living my C&C experience. I have to date suffered no crashes, errors or game breaking bugs and (dare I say it) I have regained some faith in EA for helping resurrect "THE" classic RTS and bringing it to the modern day PC.

Since release I have completed both the GDI and NOD campaigns and I have made a start on the Covert Ops missions all of which I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend for any C&C returnee or new player into the genre. In order to provide a full review I have played Red Alert 1 in the same context and although I have not completed the campaigns (yet) however the level of detail, gameplay and quality matches that of C&C Tiberian Dawn. In the interest of fairness, over the two games I have identified some issues albeit small;

- The unit pathing is still as questionable as it was 25 years ago and units can "sometimes" have a mind of their own.
- When using Helicopters I found myself clicking 2/3 times in order to eject units which became frustrating and forced me to re-load.
- Although it didn't phase me too much, there is no way-pointing for units which may put some modern RTS players off.
- The online games have been a little slow with the servers at times but I believe the right support will come to stabilise this.

Other than the above, I cannot deny that C&C remastered has gone above and beyond my expectations. These last few days have been a breath of fresh air in the RTS genre and I hope with this games success, the team may consider a Tiberian Sun/RA2 remaster in the future. I believe that any C&C veterans will appreciate the level of work and detail that has gone into this remaster especially given the price which is very reasonable. This game is a true masterpiece.

Thank you Jim Vessella, Petroglyph, Lemon Sky Studios, the C&C Community and EA.

I have no idea why this game has such a bad review record. I have played a series of games over the last couple of days both offline and online. I have had no trouble with the internet connection issues that some players have highlighted, the game runs so smoothly. Furthermore, you have the choice of running the game via the classic board setup or the new interactive style (which I highly recommend). This game is ideal for yourself or a group of friends, either online or using the single PC (although not as fun).

Considering I have never been a massive fan of Monopoly through a PC/Console game (the board game original is the way to play), this game is genuinely a breath of fresh air to anyone who simply enjoys the Monopoly experience.

The first TW:Warhammer was brilliant and you kind of asked yourself the question, how can that be improved? Somehow in TW:Warhammer II it feels better, especially with the recent edition of the Mortal Empires Expansion. I can give no words to explain my happiness about how I can now set about a war between the Empire and Lizardmen or form a strong alliance with the High Elves. The possibilities are endless, with a great array of factions to pick from and the same carnage on the battlefields. A real treasure of a game.

A year on and this game is still brilliant in every sense, so much so I nominated it for Game of the Year 2018.

So prior to TES: Skyrim I had never experienced an Elder Scrolls game and this game was getting all the hype. I picked it up whilst on offer and immediately I was sucked in by the games storyline and beautiful graphics. Everything about the game has been perfected with a fine toothcomb by Bethesda and its clear to see. The RPG elements are fantastic, the way you build your character from the ground up how you want, is the way I like my RPGs. There is no linear pattern or series of quests you have to take, just a massive open world where you can pick and choose where to go next, with no limitations. I didn't want magic on my character, so what? He's a pure melee and the game allows that without any sacrifices. If your into RPGs with a detailed character customisation system, great storyline and beautiful scenery then this is for you. Having played this I have now looked at previous Elder Scrolls games and realised what I have missed out on. Do not miss out on this. In my opinion the best Open World RPG to date.

So this game has taken a lot of stick since its initial release in 2015 and I took a risk and funded Subterranean Games towards the games development. Why is this review positive you might ask? Well the game was initally buggy, very buggy but heck any new game is bound to be littered with flaws and funding companies to work on the game and iron the creases out is something I have not regretted.
Over one year on and this game is a fantastic renaissance of what the old Dungeon Keeper series used to be. Personally, its everything and more to what I would want from a follow up to the DK Series. Its clear that the developers love this game and have lived solely to make it work for us the players. Any review that mentions bugs or glitches, please let me assure you I have come across none in the recent months of playing and I believe they have been resolved. A fantastic follow-up to a fantastic game series with a devoted community and great developers.

Fantastic fun! Pick it up for a laugh, I know you pay for the Steam version but I think its worth the effort for a couple of quid to have it on your Steam login and make it readily accessible. +1 to the Mods.
