Ultimately PUBG is in my top 3 favourite games. Is it a tough learning curve, anti-cheat software and report system hasn't been updated since early access, and swamped with micro-transaction skins that cost far too much for what they're worth?

Oh boy the answers yes on all three.

PUBG offers a range of weaponry and maps to keep the variance of games high. Learning how to use these weapons to their best ability will give you a great sense of accomplishment, and eventually you'll start getting high kill games regardless of whether you win or not.

In this game, you will not have developer support, and alot of games you find you're doing well will end when suddenly you're shot from in cover or someone snap 180 locks in the headshots and kills you. Or my favourite is when you are the complete opposite of zone on the map, and they will drive specifically to where you are kill you and then go for the next target.

Additionally, the servers, peeker's advantage and de-sync are all a large problem that will never be solved, so dont expect it to and learn how to play using these things to your advantage.

Overall, to play this game you have to resign to the fact that cheaters get to play this game with no repercussions and that some games you'll just have to not count. But winning in this game feels ten times better than any game ive played before it.
