A reasonably priced game with a reasonable file size is rare nowadays, let alone one this good. It's the perfect blend of realistic flight and heart pounding fun. It sits in the sweet spot on the fun to real life flight school continuum.

Fairly simple, but every step of the way feels natural, and not forced. The tutorials are subtle enough you feel like you discovered a strategy, even though 5 hours later it's obvious the game steered you that way.
Very solid game, the core gameplay is dead on, and the progress is exceptionally satisfying to watch.

Started a new world, played for 6 hours straight, and legitimately forgot I was hungry, thirsty, and tired for the whole time. I only recommend playing on weekends to maintain a livable sleep schedule.

Played this for the first time in 2016, and I've been coming back across multiple platforms, multiple PC upgrades, every time it's fantastic. That's over 25% of my life spent thinking about and playing this game off and on, and it's never old. The campaign is the best I have played in an FPS game, and is all killer, no filler. The gameplay is legitimately perfect. One of my only 10/10 games.

Absolutely delightful. Exploring world's no one has ever seen before is just amazing. The core gameplay loop is fun, and the graphics are stylized well, with good optimization. Well worth the price, and if you're a space nerd this is an absolute must have.

This game is excellent mechanically, passable visually, but the gameplay loop is horrible. I love being in matches, firing shells and keeping the enemy at bay with flanks.

With the economy however, the limiting factor is not my skill or my willingness to play the game, but my refusal to ever, ever, buy a premium account. Repair costs, which Gaijin moronically are attempting to increase, eat into my winning every game. It creates an incentive to avoid playing on your bad days, and only play on the good ones. I shouldn't have to worry about repair costs in arcade ground battle dude! I just want to go pew pew.

If they fix this I will gladly swap my review, re-edit all of this, and leave a glowing review of the core mechanics. Until then, don't download.

I have not touched online, story missions, or bounties.

I have only gone hunting and on photography trips. This is still my favorite game in my library right now. The hunting is better than the dedicated hunting games I have, and the photography is genuinely fun for anyone, beginner or pro.
Worth the money.

I'm a big space nerd so I loved this, the graphics don't even matter, the simple fact that you are currently on the equivalent of Venus is such a rush you don't care. 10/10

Exceptionally immersive gunplay, to the point I frequently jump when I get shot at when I'm not expecting it. Community is a mix of exceptionally funny roleplayers and memers, and the bottom of the barrel COD gamers imaginable.
Wouldn't trade it for the world.
