One thing to remember is the game is early access which is what everyone begged for when the streamers were doing a playtest.

Yes there are performance issues and bugs, but the developers have been extremely responsive in trying to fix them.

I've been enjoying the game so far its got great potential, graphics are great and gameplay is decent.

Gunfights keep you on your toes and its a great game to play with mates

In its current state i cannot recomend this game.
Been trying to play for hours now and still haven't been able to join a server.
They Delayed the release for "Optimisation" and to make sure it was ready for launch, but its the same song and dance over again where it isn't ready for the public.

Fantastic game, only played 2 hour so far but in the 2 hours met some great team orientated players and got to experience gathering and supplying resources and an hour long firefight both sides very enjoyable! Highly recomend this game!

Well lets see where to start.....

I found No Man's Sky to be an alright game, yeah it has like 18 quinquillion planets but it still feels kind of empty (As a game) in the sense of there really isnt much to do, all you are doing is jumping from system to sytem, planet to planet to gather resources then get to the center of the galaxy and yeah thats about it, theres no really story line and really not much of a questing system to go with it other than yep you guessed it, get to the center of the galaxy......

The game has great potential still and is graphically pretty but the trailers made it look better than it actually is so far, im hoping in later DLC they release some actual story line or questing system where maybe you can go on a few planets and they are actually colonized as if there's other players and aliens around the chances are is they came from somewhere, why cant we find that? and then go do quests for those civilizations.

I personally feel that if they had spent less time making it so big they could have made it more feature rich, make it so yeah you can bump into friends and go start a civilization on a planet, or go start a massive war with some form of alien race etc and not just mine, mine, mine and mine oh and dont forget fly, fly ,fly and fly ....

So yeah Graphically and Engine wise it is fantastic, content and things to do wise it can get a bit of a bore and feel like a empty game

(So get it if your after a pretty game with a bit of exploration, dont if you like games where theres a variety of things to do and a purpose to the game)

Where to start.....


I picked up this game when it first got released on steam, back then it was really really buggy, but since it has improved alot, theyve still got some work to do with the zombies but that game its self is great fun especially with a group of mate, warning there are loads of bandits, but there are also friendly people its just hard picking individuals to trust so yeah trust no one haha, i think the most fun ive had is luring people out with a lantern in road and mowing them down leaving one alive and handcuffing them and putting a sack on there head :P

Fantastic Game, First time playing can be a bit overwhelming learning everything and getting killed from the various things around you, but once you make friends with other players and learn the basics it starts to get fun, highly recomend getting!
